My childhood friend joined the light music club. She spent her days doing what she loved and enjoying her time, and would tell me about her club activities almost every day, but at some point she stopped talking about it. I don’t know why.

A distance gradually grew between us, and I felt like she was avoiding me. Maybe my childhood friend changed after joining the club.

It’s inevitable that people change, so I decided to distance myself from my childhood friend. But I wanted to see the light music club perform one last time, a performance that she had talked about so happily.

I went to see the concert in secret, without telling my childhood friend. There, I was captivated by a girl.

The childhood friend not talking to him for 6 months, but not being upset with him. Like even if you're busy with homework and club stuff, you're in the same high school and presumably live near each other if you're childhood friends. How is there 0 time to talk to someone you're on good terms with, in close proximity to, and grew up with... for 6 months???

Overall, I'd definitively say it's worth a read. It isn't some edgy garbage or some nonsensical wish fulfillment. Just a pretty well written story that's easy to recommend. <<less
