But “Dohee” is different.

It is a realistic story of a gender transition where a person who was born a man gradually becomes a woman and experiences confusion and discomfort .

A broken family, and a gradual realization of her identity.

Dohee finds her own path through repeated acceptance and resistance, hurt and recovery .

From denial to acceptance.

From confusion to overcoming.
