One day, after completing a quest and returning home, I walked in on the Hero and my lover embracing each other. The Hero then kicked me out of my own house.
After that, I tried to take revenge on him—but I failed. Instead, I ended up nearly getting killed by the Hero.
Just as I had resigned myself to death…

The Demon King said that to me. And so, as revenge for having my lover stolen, I decided to steal the Hero’s lover instead.
