Furthermore the way that both of them treat their child is something I'd never wish on even my worst enemy, that was a very depressing read. (Seldom do I feel this way or criticize a parent's poor parenting choices in fiction but they took it too far). Whatever happened between them while sad was not his fault, however he was made to feel that way.
Just because you put your whole heart into your second child because you regret your treatment of the first, that does not wash away the damage that's already done, he clung to you and you pushed him away because of your resentment towards his father he's not even accustomed to the word mother (or father for that matter) , he was just a child, a toddler. I feel so much resentment to the parents for this because it's a lot relatable as oldest children of the family. He didn't deserve all that.
I don't know how they'd reconcile after all that's happen because upto the point that I've read ML seems to be descending further into darkness (I know their relationship is already toxic but he seemed to be trying to turn it up a notch).
