Captivating worldbuilding and plot twists. The ML's mischievous personality and his carefree interactions with the FL are refreshing.

Not only the main characters, but also the side characters have mysterious and engrossing backstories - which I'm looking forward to seeing further elaborated, especially on the FL's employer. One backstory connects (sometimes unexpectedly) to another, which is absorbing.

Although not explicitly stated, by the time you get past a quarter of the novel, you'll figure out the identity of the ML, and he'll still remain mysterious. I absolutely love the story so far. It’s written so beautifully and in an almost poetic story telling way that I’ve not encountered in these light K-novels before. The translation is also amazing. The magic lore, complex politics, kind yet brave female lead Kasha, and the mysterious Ashil all bring this delightful story together. I can’t wait to experience thru reading more of Kasha’s journey!
