This isn't for the people that want western royal drama. This is a love story. The drama is only there to make the love story between MC and ML burn brighter.

It's still a typical transmigration story, but the it focuses on the emotion development of the MC and ML. It's a cute story for those that WANT romance because the focus IS romance.

MC is relatable especially for those in this day and age. In this digital age, people are lonely and more closed off in face to face interactions... more>> and I think MC mirrors that. Now he's put in an environment where there's very little long distance communication and against a ML that needs blunt confrontation. He's going to come off as boring but I think he's probably the most realistic character to ever represent an average Joe transmigrating.

Highly recommend for those who enjoy just reading about the main couple and not much into politics or unnecessary side plots or to much information dumped on you.

At fist glance you might think red flag all around no resolution constant going around in circles, BUT it’s not that at all rather it’s refreshing, MC is straightforward and also very considerate and take multiple things into account as well ML CHEFS KISS! I absolutely adore the ML (Felix) he is so caring. It’s just so wholesome but talks about many emotions... more>> as well, I really enjoy the way the MC (Lowell) talks about feelings as well acknowledges not only his own but ML (Felix) as well.

This was actually a very nice story (so far, I’ve got 10 more chapters till the end of the main story). It had a lot more to do with psychology than I expected, but it ran in a rather smooth fashion. And for once, I don’t have any tags that I need to clarify for being wrong or misguided. Yay.

To start with, there aren’t massive, long-lasting misunderstandings. I love the MC (Main Character) because he does what I wish all MC’s would do; when there’s a misunderstanding, he sits the... more>> ML (Male Lead) down and basically forces him to talk it out. He rarely jumps to conclusions, and when he does he’s very rational about it. He doesn’t jump off the cliff of misguided bottoms, but instead looks over the edge, debates the probability, then lead the ML in a conversation to see if his hypothesis is correct. Usually it is, and if the ML is heading down a bad road due to ML’s own cliff jumping, then the MC calmly talks to him about it until they can reach a compromise.

There is a small period of confinement, and the MC accepts the reasoning for it, and then uses the above method to calmly handle it. It was such a breath of fresh air. This isn’t a couple you’ll get annoyed at often.

I do have a few complaints though. They ML imprints or marks or whatever, the MC way too quickly. He literally brought the guy home and like the next day, he realized he’d imprinted or whatever. By the way, they might call it marking, I can’t remember, but since the premise follows more along the lines of imprinting - other than that it’s not at first sight - I’m sticking with that. It’s basically like his soul accepted the MC’s and they’re bonded forever. The saving grace is that the MC did not imprint back right away and it actually took him a while, which was explained. It fits his personality, so I was happy about that.

Another thing that bothered me was the s*upidity of the villains and how none of the nobles seemed all that... noble. I mean, a room full of nobles see an attempted assassination and all collectively agree to move on without kicking up a fuss? Another room full of nobles see someone get drugged and they simply ignore it? Are you kidding me? I get it, the nobles are a**holes, but you’re telling me not a single man, women, or child among them isn’t tainted? Seriously? Talk about an oversight. That bothered me more than anything else. Get that many people in a room and have something that insane happen, and someone is bound to say something not evil. Someone would have been concerned, even if only for their own safety... Anyway, other than the insane level of mob mentality (or whatever that was) it’s an excellent story that I would read again. <<less

I read up to 93 chapters and the MC is the best for me. I like him a lot because he's smart and coolheaded. Their child are not born yet even up to this point since the main story is obviously about the MC's time with the ML. But hopefully the ending won't be at the time when he gives birth and we'll just see a glimpse of the child. It would be great to still have a few plots while they take care of the child. It doesn't have... more>> to be a serious plot, just doing their things like managing their fiefdom or something. <<less

I am really enjoying the lovely journey of this couple. There aren’t any annoying misunderstandings that take many chapters to clear up.

We have an MC and ML who find themselves falling in love with each other and though feeling vulnerable and hesitant they are both honest with themselves and each other and it makes for a smooth transition from a contractual arrangement to a deeply devoted partnership.

I’m sad at how quickly I caught up to all the released chapters but I’m looking forward to reading more!
