A list of novels which I consider worth reading, if you're into my flavor of 'alternate world escapism'. Although I enjoy reading many things, few webnovels actually 'feel' like novels to me. This list exists to shed light on a few noteworthy examples. Everything will be harem, if romance is involved. It's a lazy plot device, but a nice way to give everyone a happy ending. If done correctly. Tropes should only be included if they are done tastefully or from a fresh perspective. s*x is a must for adult audiences. Violence, torture and gore without s*x is comical. This slowly devolved into binging manga and then reading the source material. Sadly, I am rapidly becoming aware of my own mortality. Authors die. Serializations end prematurely. Due to recent advancements in AI, I've taken it upon myself to just read the original material through MTL. Originally, I would only recommend series which had concluded satisfactorily. This is becoming less and less possible. My point in saying this is that, life is short. Most people will never read "Me, Her & Live Ammunition". Usually you can see this where the male lead is sometimes genuinely mean to the MC and we see MC struggle being around them

If the novel have romance I wil say it, not much author write full evil mc.

Absolute Neutral : Absolute neutral has two definitions : a person who is not inclined to commit wrong doing but who if need be does not hesitate to get his hands dirty after all profits is above all selfishness comes first. Second, he has no emotions he is ruthless no desire only the most rational and mechanical thought.

Neutral Evil : Neutral Evil, he will be very prone to do evils but which must benefit him in some way and will never think emotionally but rationally. Killing people for betterment ect.... have no regrets about the harm done even if the people are innocent.

Chaotic Evil : Chaotic Evil, simple and precise, he commits immoral acts for no reason and has no moral boundaries or conscience, he shamelessly spits on them, he just wants to do evil without reason and commit unparalleled atrocities only for his perverse pleasure.

Don't hesitate to recommend books that I didn't added.

What constitutes a good story for me?

PLOT. It must not stray away from its intended plot. No unrelevant arcs just for the sake of DRAGGING the story. THERE MUST BE SUBSTANCE. 

As much as possible, NO RUSH ENDING. The conclusion is the most important. If the story ended with some questions unresolve, the story is a failure. Open endings are acceptable, since it is closest to reality you can get. 

CHARACTER GROWTH. I believe it's one of the essential part of the story. I can stomach s*upid and naive characters, ONLY, if they showed character development along the way. 

LOGIC. No one wants to proceed on reading if they couldn't understand nor make sense out of anything. I'm willing to make an exceptions for WORLD-BUILDING. But there's what you call an out-of-this-world logic and an out-of-this-world s*upidity. The former I can accept, the latter, thanks but no thanks.

ENJOYMENT FACTOR. A STORY MUST EVOKE EMOTIONS OUT OF ME. If I couldn't feel anything while reading, then the writer failed to connect to their readers. Even if the genre isn't my cup of tea, it should be able to convince me otherwise. That's what it means by a good writing.

I really like power fantasies, and have specially fallen in love with the world-hopping genre. I don't enjoy romance in books or female authors, and JP and KR novels are cringe (Moonlight Scultor was fun back when i just started reading, though).
