Tragedy and comedy mixed together tend to be my main food. The more the mc is powerless and suffer from it, the better, buh we’re always more entertained if the irony or absurdity of ther world make us laugh along the way~ (a weak person desperate’s struggle has more value in my eyes than any OP character). Similarly, there is no justice (no perfect evil, no ideal rightousness— the world is gray.), and every step (act of good will or evil) has a price (yes, you might suffer for doing what you perceived as a [good action]). We walk alone on this world, and you may have the perfect pace, that others may still reject you. Moral dilemna and denials, as well as ending up alone against all those you trusted as allies, are the best~

I prefer no romance stories, but did wander into several BL in order to devore some angst. It does mean most ’BL romance’ i actually accepted to read is extremely toxic / often closer to [obsession] than romance. Or is just a case where ML and MC are bursting with conflicts between each others (external or internal).

(This also might be influenced by some dragons obsessions. And wings. And freedom :3) <<less

notes for myself to remember my opinion and impression of the novels. if someone else is reading it, there can be spoilers in what i wrote. not in any particular order but the strategy to capture that s*um gong one is my favorite, i think it has the highest emotions and best manipulative MLs, with ab*se, drama, suffering for everyone, and suicidal thoughts with r*pe and possessiveness (a bit satire and humor too) and really you get a bit of everything in the process even if the ending is a different vibe and then trying to be HE. (I just pretend it doesnt exist)... more>>

its very strictly a list reserved only for heavy or suitable element of things like yandere, r*pe, confinement, kidnapping, suicidal thoughts, etc. and i don’t like light yandere or manipulation or just r*pe, it really pisses me off, because if you’re going to have fictional red flags you should go all the way in being crazy, i don’t like to read the author’s supposedly subtle yandere because its too close to common real life abusive relationships (ill read a bit and often dnf the rest if it develops that way). however the fake gentle types, that’s subtle to the characters not the readers, that’s still dark and abusive and very insane, i like.  i prefer if theres a lot of angst and drama and suffering and especially if they achieve a BE or the protag is really depressed and desires su*cide <<less
