Instead of OP CEO or arrogant and domineering ML, these precious MLs need coaxing and feel inferior to the MC (or vice versa in some cases). EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE SO PRECIOUS AND DESERVE THE WORLD!! Most of them are insecure and afraid their partner will leave or no longer like them due to their flaws/illness/background/past/etc. There is a lot of pampering, coaxing, understanding, and healing in these beautiful stories. I've tried to put similar setting/vibe stories together so the list is easier to navigate. BG in the first half and BL in the second half :)... more>>

Recently I've seen more recommendation lists on this trope and I'm SOOO HAPPY that these beautiful stories are finally getting some appreciation!! I'll do my best to also find some less popular gems for you all to read >.< Please also comment any stories you would like me to add!

*also, I know I sorta write more for some novels, less for others. It honestly depends on my mood & memory of the novel. So don't feel discouraged about the ones I write less on, they're all well written books :) I also try to only include novels that are 4 stars and above, unless I REALLY think that the story deserves wayyyy more. <<less

Tragedies do not always have a sad ending or bad ending. But they are always very distressing.

I don't particularly like it when the protagonist struggled so hard to overcome so many obstacles and his (or her) end is unnecessary or undeserved tragic death. (Ooooh, if a main character dies, he (or she) must die with all the glory.)

I deal with terminal illnesses well, as they are always moving stories. T-T

Oooh, pitiful love stories and regrets... When they are a very moving story, they are just worth reading.
