Taichi Ito (42), a salaryman working for Japan’s largest advertising agency, “Denpaku Communications,” was promoted to department head of the prestigious “Planning Division 1” just five years after joining the company. This came on the heels of winning both the CM Grand Prix and a Buzzword Award. However, caught up in office politics, he was transferred to the less glamorous “Planning Division 2” within half a year and has remained a stagnant section chief ever since.

By chance, Ito and Fumino Shinkumo, an OL from his same graduating class, were summoned to another world while riding the same elevator after coincidentally leaving work at the same time.
