At the celebration banquet for "Magnificent" on August 26th, she meets Lin Shangci, the screenwriter she’s been curious about for a long time. She appears more ordinary and pure than she imagined, like an observer floating above the world, or flitting at its edges…

The usually reclusive Lin Shangci finds herself awkwardly seeking help from her mentor and junior when faced with actors coming to toast her. What seemed like a brief encounter over a drink turns into a love story bound by the red thread of fate.

After the banquet, Lin Shangci returns home, only to find her phone bombarded with messages from a gossip group. A group member shouts, “Gu Chong’s car exploded right in front of me, and everyone inside is dead!”
