In 1986, the novel was adapted into a Taiwanese romantic drama called Many Enchanting Nights. The drama was directed by Liu Lili and also starred famous Hong Kong actress Liu Xue Hua, Taiwanese actor Chin Han, and Lee Tien Chu.

This novel has the original title “Shenzhou Qixia” which lit. means Extraordinary Heroes of Divine Land saga, and is a wuxia novel written by Wen Ruian, created in the mid-1970s. It is the most complete series among Wen Rui´an´s works to date, and has been adapted into a Wuxia drama titled “Go to the Mountains and Seas” or “Fu Shan Hai”, with a 40-episode format on the original network: iQiyi and Tencent Video.
