typically dont like reading BL cuz i hate the way mc is portrayed. +the fact that any hints of snusnu is always painful for the mc/bottom? ew. no, him having to stay in bed for 3 days straight cuz he was in so much pain, but the ml wants to do it more, is not a 'comedic haha cute moment', its a big NO. and stop making mc a weak skinny n pathetic guy with sunny smiles and pink toes or wtv. give me MASCULINE muscles, give me COLD personality. finding BLs that i like/dont feel frustrated at is really hard, so most of the time, i just avoid them all together. (ofc i don't like BG novels with these themes either, but i find that bls are much more likely to have these themes :/ its a fetish.)

that said, these are BLs that i like -- btw, these are ratings for the LOVE specifically, not FOR the novel. maybe the novel is 10/10 due to its worldbuilding and other parts, but the 'BL being uncomfy' rating is still at tolerable

✰ Tolerable is, it does have hints of the said above that makes me uncomfy, but small enough that i can ignore it with a sighhhhh

★ Good is, it doesn't have anything that makes me TOO uncomfy

I have finally gotten to part 5 after two summers. As I always say, the more the merrier. My other genre lists may be facing discrimination, but hey, what can you do? Not gonna do any extra description, mostly because I've done that for my previous lists. BUT...Some things to note:... more>>

1. I have not read all the novels on this list YET. All read novels are on part 1 with the according reviews. I made this list so I could have something visual to look at when looking for good quality novels to read. I judge "good quality novels" by seeming reviews and ratings or perhaps the book has an interesting premise you don’t usually find.

2.  I look for a capable MC and a subjectively respectful ML (I'm not big on non-con), but that doesn’t necessarily mean every book I put here fits that requirement. Once again, there are always exceptions. 

3. I don't like looking at the rating of the novel when there are barely any reviews. Thus I look at the reviews. If the reviews (even scarce) like it, it has potential. Thus, FME indicates that a novel has been added regardless of NU rating. PLEASE please please take that into regard! Do not skim past a novel just because it has a low rating. I may have a lot of FME reccs here, but I did do my research on them (jjwxc-wise +) before adding them! 

4. The higher the expectations for BL novels I have not read, the higher the stars. Hence, "***, **, *." <<less
