I know this clashes with reality since most readers love female characters, but that’s exactly why I avoid romance. At
the very least, if killing women is too difficult, then keep them far away from the MC!

That’s why this list only includes manhwa/manhua with ZERO romance by the final chapter. How do I know? By using AI, of course :V—you think I’ve got no life to read every novel? :V The criteria? The criteria? CHECK AROUND THE NOVEL'S ENDING CHAPTERS!. Why? Because if there’s a girl close to the MC (romance), IT SHOULD SHOW UP BY THE
END RIGHT ??!!!! DUH :))))))**

If not, are women really this lowly :( ? Why do so many of them always
need to be saved or helped?, etc. :(

Zero romance = no wives, no marriage, MC has zero interest in anyone. List may not be perfect, but close enough!

TRANSLATION STATUS

The best webnovel in the world will still be poorly received if the translation is bad, non-existent, or locked under $$$. I wished that things were different and that I didn't have to include this criterion, but that's how it is.

STORY DEPTH

In flat one-dimensional novels, it is as if the setting is taking place in a void. Characters, places, and creatures spontaneously appear and disappear out of thin air, and you never quite know what's going on or where it's going on. When reading such a novel, a dragon could literally descend on the capital in chapter 33 out of nowhere to eat the entire royal dynasty and you wouldn't even blink.

CHARACTER DEPTH

Characters with flat personalities are not lifeless, they are literal sock puppets that occasionally do stuff and utter dialogue. You have no idea what such characters do on their free days, nor could you envision how they would interact with you if the two of you were to sit at a café.

WRITING STYLE <<less

Novels that have no lasting romantic relationships. There will be no smut, ecchi, or harem (if MC attracts people, I don't mind until MC becomes interested in them or is clearly unable to say no to them). Of course, it's also about my tastes, so this list will be mostly fantasy and action novels (op mc will be a common feature). I am a wordy person so I also don’t mind wordier books, too... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The list is in no particular order, but novels with <100 chapters and on hiatus/slow updating (less/around as often as 1 chap/month) will go in the back. This is because I assume people are looking for binge reads like me.

DISCLAIMER: The list is subject to change and revision - my impression changes as I think about them/read more. I cannot guarantee a novel has no romance later, especially if the raws are incomplete, but I'll try my best to verify. I'll try to update this rec list as I read. No promises though, so my descriptions may be outdated.
