Anything that has the tag where a romance can happen is not included in list despite not having the romance genre in the genre list, e.g: josei, handsome male lead, late romance, slow romance, anything with love interest, engagement, marriage, r-18, s*xual relationship, romance sub-plot, yaoi/yuri sub-lot, etc. 

If you don't mind Fanfic or Gender-bent(male to female) types, I'll also be adding them.

I'll be adding more if I found some in the future and I'll be removing some if the author/s add romance in their work.

This type of novels are really hard to find so anyone who knows a one or two can drop it in the comment.

Stories where you have an older big sister like character protecting/taking care of her younger, smaller "persons of interest", usually because they require her protection, or because she desires them in some form. "Love" is not a requirement so long as they have a good relationship.... more>>

The Big Sister character must at least look significantly more mature than the partner, meaning that Lolibabas (Grandmother lolis), or loli adults (which are usually more used as mascot characters), are not counted.

The partner character has to be younger, and most of the time, physically shorter. In cases where they are not shorter, then the older sister character must at least be much more experienced to make up for it (for example, MILF).

Examples:

- Onee-shota (Older sister + Little Boy)
- Female Teacher + Student
- Young Mother + Children
- Older Sister + Younger Sibling

The Protagonist may be the Older Sister-type character, or the one being fancied, doesn't matter.

So to explain some of the terms used:

* "Onee" = the Bis sis, the Onee-chan, the Onee-sama, the Aneue, the MILF, etc.

* "Shota" = When the partner is a little boy
* "Loli" = When the partner is a little girl
* "Shonen" = when the partner is a male young adult, who doesn't look or behave like a Shota anymore
* "Shoujo" = when the partner is a female young adult, who doesn't look or behave like a Loli anymore

For example, the adventures of a father and his daughter in a fantasy world.  Or it could be SOL's story that warms the heart.  

Apart from avoiding the harem and romance genres, I also try to avoid red genres as much as possible (genres are forbidden or should not be read by children or under 15 years old) such as adult, mature, ecchi, and gore. But it could be that in the story there is some content as subplots even though it is not the focus of the story. I mean, I'm also disturbed or uncomfortable with the existence of the red genres or similar contents, even though sometimes the contents are a little needed for plot story development.
