These FLs are (somewhat) decisive, stay true to their character, and have backbones all throughout or gained one after twists and turns.

You will see a lot of Jiu Yue Xi works. Damn, I love all of her female lead characters and of course, the novels itself.

Female leads chasing after the MLs are actually refreshing to read. In C Novel world full of black bellied CEOs or professionls with cold/withdrawn personalities, it's actually hilarious to watch how their reasons crumble, routines getting disrupted, and time getting wasted by this bright-as-the-sun lady.

I guess with age, our taste turns weirder. I no longer dream of the prince charming on a white horse, but rather, I've set my target on the cold and indifferent villain. So here is the list of my favorite, flawed yet amazing MLs. 

This is purely subjective and please follow the list if you have the same weird taste as mine and do tell if you have other recommendations.

 The list contains:

Him/her with his/her unrequited love;

Couples who were separated for a very long time and unsure of the other person's feeling, but stayed true and loyal to his woman;

Or an ML who caused misery/grievance to his woman at first but turned st*pidly sweet after the redemption arc.

With that being said, Im into MLs with emotional issues and social barriers so you may not like them at first. I dont like perfect and very good mannered MLs, I like them flawed!

my career-and-plot-integration (CPI) rating scale:

1- career is a feature of the fml's backstory and/or character setup; there's no function other than a way to meet other characters or start a plotline; barely any mention of fml putting in meaningful work; the readers would have forgotten what her job was if the author didn’t bring it up once or twice

2- career is just a hobby or a means to fund other activities; sporadic mentions of working; main focus is on fml's personal life but her job is not entirely forgotten; work responsibilities are occasionally factored into her plans 

3- career is mostly present in fml's daily life; it’s mentioned consistently throughout the story but can be easily placed aside for personal events; think slice of life with romance as the priority

4- career is very important to the fml and she dedicates time and effort towards it; at times, it takes precedence over love and personal wellbeing; real professional knowledge may be referenced; passably realistic depictions of said career <<less
