No bs toxic love stories (unless it's literally too addictive but those will be noted) with illogical leads, inconsistent storylines, abusive MC's for no reason, no dumb leads, nothing overly cringy, no excessive dogblood or drama, nothing overly boring as well, no misogyny if I can help it etc. These are bg/bl books where the leads HAVE TO TREAT EACH OTHER WELL. Or at least change in that direction. That is the base line. Cliches and Opness are accepted here as long as they are enjoyable to read and are well executed. ... more>>

I have a tendency to like more mature love where the characters both have a LIFE and may like each other on the side-- most will be like that. A few will be sweet, very charming romances that make you feel respected / happy.

I read all this books while keeping in mind that this is a fiction and in ancient setting. So, even there are parts that might be disturbing, i disagree with the characters thoughts, full of red flags and toxic characters, if that make a great story and make senses in this ancient setting, then i will still enjoy it and would put it in this list. <<less
