I have finally gotten to part 5 after two summers. As I always say, the more the merrier. My other genre lists may be facing discrimination, but hey, what can you do? Not gonna do any extra description, mostly because I've done that for my previous lists. BUT...Some things to note:... more>>

1. I have not read all the novels on this list YET. All read novels are on part 1 with the according reviews. I made this list so I could have something visual to look at when looking for good quality novels to read. I judge "good quality novels" by seeming reviews and ratings or perhaps the book has an interesting premise you don’t usually find.

2.  I look for a capable MC and a subjectively respectful ML (I'm not big on non-con), but that doesn’t necessarily mean every book I put here fits that requirement. Once again, there are always exceptions. 

3. I don't like looking at the rating of the novel when there are barely any reviews. Thus I look at the reviews. If the reviews (even scarce) like it, it has potential. Thus, FME indicates that a novel has been added regardless of NU rating. PLEASE please please take that into regard! Do not skim past a novel just because it has a low rating. I may have a lot of FME reccs here, but I did do my research on them (jjwxc-wise +) before adding them! 

4. The higher the expectations for BL novels I have not read, the higher the stars. Hence, "***, **, *." <<less

These made me cry ……….. they are not just BL novels they address some most realistic relationship situations and issues !

These are BL novels that I would like to read but translations seem to be dropped or have links that are no longer available.  List may change over time such as if someone picks up the translations, or I find more that I want to read that have been dropped.  ... more>>

I generally wait about 6 months before adding a novel to this list unless the translator says dropped beforehand.  I figure this should allow enough time in case they are busy or sick.  I do also look at previous updating habits.  An example would be if a translator updates every week or once a month but then stops and nothing for six months, I assume dropped unless noted somewhere they will return.  But, if a translator only updates every few months I may give longer than 6 months.  This is also a way that I can better track some that might just be slow in translation.

I know some translators prefer doing those that have a small number of chapters left.  I will mark those that have 26-50 chapters left with +, and those with 25 or less with *.

If you are a translator that view this list and decide to pick up or continue one of these, THANK YOU!  I would not be able to enjoy as many BL novels without you. <<less
