Guideverse series are included when the setting is close enough to being a Hunter story - there are Gates or other ways for things to invade from other dimensions, there's monster fighting, they're actually called Hunters, etc. Sometimes the "Hunter" setting is only a background setting and you don't actually see it much in-story, however.

Here comes a longass list because I like harem. It's something I've seen many people dislike since they prefer 1-1 couples. However, I like it because even if I hate a ML or two, there's bound to be at least one other ML in the harem who might be likeable. So I'll rather see the MC get chased by the entire gay town™ than read about just one ML who could be insufferable.... more>>

For example, 'I Rely on Beauty to Stabilize the Country' has a somewhat annoying ML but because it's not a harem, you're supposed to suffer through all the paragraphs brimming with his a$$holery and can only root for him. Because no other guy can ever end up with the MC so what's even the point? 

On the other hand, 'The Cruel Tyrant' has a similar theme — a modern dude transmigrating and carrying the responsibility of restoring a kingdom onto his shoulders, but it's a harem with different kind of MLs so even if you skip the parts of some MLs you dislike, there's still around 2-3 MLs left for you to reading about. That's not to say I like every harem novel or dislike every non-harem novel though, it's just that I'll like anything as long as it won't have those insufferable characters I'm forced to sit and watch. <<less
