Most harem series on this list are academy stories because to me academy-harem are just really entertaining. The rating themself aren't based on romance or harem they're based on my enjoyment of the story as a whole.

The ratings are definitely way higher than most of the series' deserve, but idc, it just shows how much I enjoyed them. At the end of the day if something is on this list it means it was interesting/ fun enough to keep reading <<less
