    this novel is a mess.

It starts out amazing with the MC placed in a primitive fantasy world where he has to fight out against dinosaurs and monsters like snow giants and more. This stays like this for around 40 to 50 chapters.

It however quickly divolves into a dbz esk cycle where the MC meets stronger and stronger opponents except that the action is mid at best and uninteresting at worst. This cycle keeps going on until the story gets to the part that really crushed my interest in it.... more>>
    Spoiler

After the dinosaurs the MC starts fighting angels and things like that with the same cycle of strong opponent finding MC, MC fights it and wins and gets stronger Repeat. The angels are to put it simply extremely boring, the only one I actually cared about Belva and anyone else is unimportant, the angels honestly feel like a plot device to make the MC as strong as possible like some badly written power fantasy where the MC is unbeatable and absorbs transcendent beings.

    [collapse]

Also the whole premise seems to be ignored almost completely as 75 chapters into it the only thing we get about it is short snippets of academy lessons that don't do anything except talk vaguely about events or opponents thatll happen in a few chapters. Not even something simple like a character in the original novel asking a teacher about the enemy she'll face. It's just a nameless npc.

Not only that there's close to no world building except for the existence of the academy and the interactions between characters are extremely limited, characters feel 2d, we barely know anything about them past basic personality and how they respect/fear the MC. Belva is the only exception to this as I feel she is pretty decently written (at least for this novel). Even the earliest side character (excluding belva) Miho suffers from this problem and she's introduced at like chapters 10 or 15.

Ts seems to just be there and has no reason for it to have happened. (Maybe it's explained during the 20 chapter long angel arc that I almost fell asleep through, I honestly have no idea, 90% of it was action for actions sake) <<less

Very fun in concept so far, even if I am a little bit concerned about the long term viability of the concept. Author will need to change it up after about 25 or so chapters so it won't get stale.

Throw me a message if somebody does an mtl or something, I lack critical patience. Raw has like... 200 chapters?

Anyhow, the chapters are pretty long, the characters dialogue is fairly well written, and the combat is pretty cool.

... more>> Can't make too many other statements yet.

Edit: As of chapter 17, I can say this can confidently be called pretty solid. Seems like our protagonist is going to build things up for the future, while bits of the future is shown. Based on the opening of the story, the MC will eventually be trapped/ sealed somewhere for an indeterminate amount of time until whenever time in the future we keep getting flashes of.

The fighting parts are solid so far, and I'm curious how this will turn out.

Where the long term of this will go is extremely "risky" at best in terms of being a genre that is interesting and quality overall considering the scope of the story in terms of time.

The genre is currently pivoting off of survival, so we'll see where it goes from here. <<less
