TLTR:

The author does so well the management off different cliches, its so fun and interesting read on that part, but the main drawback is that apart from the MC and one or two other characters, the rest feels a bit bland, but it aint that bad, once you realize they are just playing along their own archetypes as the story goes on and on, the only one drawback is the translation and the amount of similar names, it was manageable, but you might need to keep tab of who... more>> is who.

The story wanders, and the characters that are the calling card (the transmigrator, the regressor, etc..) are barely developed. It’s almost like every chapter so far has just been some tiny plot progression, and then the main character spanking two blocks of wood together and then rambling on about Combat Techniques for the 32nd time.

so far characters are dull, nothing exciting has really happened and the basic interactions are boring.

Quite interesting so far.

Protagonist’s demeanor about handling things thrown at him is refreshing as well.

So far so good and if MC's motivation and personality can remain consistent throughout the novel then I guess it wouldn't be far off to call it one of the better novels.

Misleading, boring, predictable.

Idk what I expected going into this novel, its clearly not romance fantasy. I dont even want to give this thing a full review so i'll try to be brief.

This is an author who really wants to write a murim novel. He does write a murim novel but then puts the setting as typical korean game fantasy novel. But because he couldn't possibly control his hard-on for a murim novel the setting is some sort of twisted dark fantasy.

Everything about this is murim. Starting from this 'aura' power... more>> system that's just murim qi. Aura being leagues stronger than the rest. The MC being an untalented idiot that hasnt learnt any of the secret family techniques but he just practices the basics real good.

There might be romance with the future empress who knows, but she already has a kid. The world itself has a transmigrator girl, a regressed guy and what seems to be a third guy with a system to round out all the tropes. The MC's task is to keep an eye on all of them. A task given by the future empress because she wants her son to not face obstacles.

The MC agrees to this nonsense task because this future empress has the cure to the one condition he cares most about. I.e. She can fix his impotence. She can make his pp go hard again.

You know what that's it. This is some real average slop. Maybe you'll get entertainment out of it if you're really drawn to the constant and otherwise nonsense fighting. But its appeal isn't high. <<less

This series is a ABSOLUTE CINEMA!

Each Arc contains great story with great character, great scene and even great epilogue!

Main Character is a Absolute Chad & Badass Unit. He wasn't blessed with Talent so torture his body and create a new Martial Arts thats inspired from Wuxia novel he read in his past life.

MC really give his all when do something. He lives like he burns his soul so he can life as he wishes and proudly, amazed anyone he meet.

With that way of life, he become a guide and salvation to anyone needed.

A perfect read that comes from unexpected series. When you read the climax of that Arc, it's hust make you so excited.

Fun novel. MC is your power junkie with a heart of gold, A brute with chivalry. He names his skills after Wuxia fighting tropes so prepare for that.

Certain elements are done in an amusing way.

This is a fun read the biggest selling point of this novel is the protagonist. Honestly when your reading this novel your reading a novel that inspires chivalry, manhood, and doing the right thing. The protagonist is someone that embodies these values and shows alot of it through the novels fight scenes which are vivid and intense. If you want to read a heartwarming novel that also gets your heart pumping then this novel is for you.

What a gem. This is truly the best and most successful combination of so many different KR genres/tropes.

Academy. Regressor. Transmigrator (female romance). Transmigrator (Game developer + status-window). Reincarnation (remembers past Korean memories). Two souls in one body. Murim. Eunuch problem. Western. Knights. Mages. Multiverse.

It's as if the author wrote down a bunch of KR isekai tropes and said, which one should I use, and the answer is Yes. This is not the first time I've seen authors meshing up genres and tropes, but it's the first one that I think... more>> is successful in execution. Each element is introduced slowly to form one big picture, and it worked out so well that I'm impressed.

But what makes it really great in my opinion is the true execution of Wuxia (武martial 侠heroics) that I haven't really felt from reading all the KR murim novels. Wuxia is a Chinese genre where heroic deeds are accomplished by martial feats. Seeing MC create the Murim genre on his own in a Western setting really takes it to the next level. If you're tired of the traditional settings of an Academy novel, try this one to see how settings can be taken to its limits.

4.7 stars. I am only disappointed by the image cover for not making the guy look like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

It's a fun novel to read.

However, the only interesting thing here is the MC.

... more>> While other aspects of the story are well built and there's no bad points, the whole progression is not original, I came across similar tropes and the author didn't make much different.

The author took interesting parts from popular tropes and then merged them seamlessly, that's good, however, the author couldn't make a story that makes you think "wow", it's just enough as an entertaining read.

If you want to read a laid back rude MC that doesn't give a f*ck about anyone, and who has a bit of flawed personality (lunatic) and is somewhat racist to mages (if it can be called that), then this story is nice.

However, you won't get the deep world building and epic story telling with a deep lore or character growth. <<less
