I wanted to enjoy this, but there were a lot of indicators during the process that made me drop this. I only got to chapter 132 before I dropped it. The pacing was too slow for my liking and I had to take a lot of breaks between chapters because it would get boring at times and there was a lot of explaining on things that I didn't particularly care for. This was the usual novel where the FL gets reincarnated after dying in her first life and... more>> gets revenge on the people that wronged her and her loved ones.

I think another thing that got to me was how the FL came to like the ML. In her first life, until she died, she never liked him, she even went as far as to prevent his promotion, which created this butterfly effect that resulted in his family's downfall. I feel like she only started to like him because she followed him after her death and saw his loyalty to her, which is okay I guess, but it just seems ingenuine and lazy having her realize later that "oh, I've always liked him and I just didn't realize it." There just wasn't a good connect on why these two love each other so much, especially since they don't seem to have much interaction before what we see as their first encounter. And there are so many secrets and missing pieces in the beginning that it makes everyone's blind loyalty to the FL kind of off-putting and very mary-sue. But I guess that's to expect of these stories lol.

I did, however enjoy how she got her revenge. I do think that sometimes it was harsh, but thinking about what happened in her past life, it makes sense. I'm glad we get to see her live a better version of it where no one dies. I also appreciated that there wasn't really any family drama -- her family dotes on her and her in-laws all pretty much listens to everything she says.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend it just because of how much time I think you'd waste reading irrelevant descriptions and how repetitive it gets. However, if you don't mind that and you like stories about reincarnation, having a magical space, FL being a military wife, and revenge, then you can give this a try. Hopefully you're able to enjoy it more than I did. : ( <<less
