This novel takes place in the far future, where humanity is actively searching for habitable planets to colonize. The colonists are attacked by the nocturnal wildlife, killing the crew and imp**gnating one (Aliens style). As the space shuttle is attempting to leave it is destroyed by a giant tentacle over the ocean.

Juho, the main character, is stuck with Amy, an intelligent robot who is severely damaged in the aftermath of the fleeing.

The horror elements of this novel are great, reading it gave me goosebumps at some points in the story. Yes, there are a lot of s*x scenes but nearly all of them are described in horrifying ways. However, the fact that MC is the recipient of all the scary sh*t happening in the story makes it pretty difficult to believe how he survived for that long. You can definitely feel that plot armor is working overtime to keep the MC alive. To give a look at MC's soft-heartedness, he still wants to save the mermaid girl who had done the following to him by then: imprisoned him twice, drowning torture, mangled his leg by eating it and bit off a chunk of his arm.

That said, I cannot stop reading it despite these negatives. This story of the MC being the alleged sole surviving human among those he was with exploring an alien planet is so interesting. Unraveling the mysteries surrounding this planet, that seems to have purposely led his ship here, in hopes of finding a way to leave. More importantly, seeing the different creatures MC encounters and learning about their culture, behavior and characteristics from their twisted form of caring down to their unrelenting cruelty. Currently, the important characters the MC interacts with are an AI girl, a spider girl, a mermaid, an alraune and a newborn alien lifeform that imprinted on him. Each have their own twisted ways of valuing MC so he uses the knowledge he learns about them and his awareness of their extreme affection to manipulate them to make the conditions more favorable to him and/or escape them. Unfortunately for MC, the girls are also scheming and manipulative, slowly learning about him to guide him to their ways of monopolizing him.
