Hi, this is the translator, Bambi! I've only read the first story and that was pretty much enough for me to translate this novel! I love the smut scenes, and the FL's scheming personality, I feel it's something new. Although at times, this girl has tested my patience with her life views, it's an interesting thing to translate a totally different outlook in life from mine.

The first story follows Song Rou, who is in love with Jing Feng, her roommate's bf. She will do anything do get that man, and... more>> by that, I mean everything, she's pretty shameless, and without morals, she will seduce, disguise herself, drug Jing Feng, and scheme. She's a mistress, a third party who willingly tries to "steal" a man (nobody can steal anyone, everyone makes a choice). Except... that man is quite easy to get. The position of girlfriend, now, that's something difficult to achieve! My personal opinion is that she represents many women who think getting the man of the girl they're envious of will make their life better and will make them happier, but as the saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side. At some time, Song Rou even questions herself: Do I truly love Jing Feng, or did I think I would be worth something if I got him to like me? It's an interesting study of adultery tbh.

After reading up to ch. 22, not gonna lie, the smut is smut-ing (?). The MC has relateable aspects like being jealous of the prettier girl who has a handsome boyfriend and feeling inferior next to her friend girl rival. The MC's attraction to Jing Feng is superficial as he is a bishounen hunk. She has high s*xual desire and gets wet easily, and if not for his looks, she would have tasted many more men. She's very aware of what's going on his psyche and knows how to turn... more>> him on which makes this so mentally stimulating to read. Being desired by Jing Feng makes her feel more powerful than Jia Jia.

I also agree with the translator's review and rating. Cheating is a decision. Jing Feng unconsciously desired MC too and sexed her out afterwards. He probably didn't love his gf that much. I think MC stress tested their relationship early on, so it bounded to end anyways as he's such a weak man. <<less

Rou girl was just in loved to the Feng boy, she madly totally in loved. Even she knows that's totally wrong but we can see that she's really do love the Feng boy, she gave her best and all just to have him, compared to the Jia Jia girl it feels like because they have time with Feng Boy it seem that they have both taken it for granted. The Rou girl also gave chances the Feng Boy to choose.

They are a... more>> saying that: if your tempted to others even that your taken, it only means that you don't love that person, you only think that you want to be with him/her because of time that you spend together, but that doesn't mean that both of you love each other.

And there are alot of real life love story that even how a long time they seen each other, but still time can't tie them together.

Life is a matter of choice, so Feng boy choice to be tempted, Rou girl choice to grab it, and Jia Jia girl choice to take things for granted.

The author written it well of you understand the story. I don't know why it it was low rated but the author studied it or base in experienced, because it kinda deep.

I haven't read the 2nd story, if I had time I'll read it. <<less
