Interesting plot idea but I can't read it at all. Im not a huge fan of first person pov in general but this novel in particular feels like I'm slogging through mud with each sentence. The author is very wordy.

Cons:

I would have enjoyed this novel a lot more if not for two factors:

(1) it is VERY repetitive

... more>> - I really don't need 20 chapters saying the same thing over and over again.

(2) MC was unreasonably OP in second half

- There's no explanation. It just is. No gradual build. A lot of it comes out of nowhere. ML also doesn't even get to show off his skills despite plenty of chapters with MC drooling over how strong he is.

I like the concept, but I turned off my brain reading this... skipped/skimmed a lot of repetitive content. This could have finished up maybe 60 chapters earlier?

Pros:

(1) Multiple POVs

- It was enjoyable having insight of just more than our MC, especially once his POV becomes repetitive

(2) The FLUFF

- Fluff. Jar of sugar. Bowl of dog cat food. Take your pick. I had cavities reading this. The cubs just knocked my teeth out. <<less

That was sooooo cute. Finished it in one go.

Honestly it deserves more like 13 or 14/20 because nothing much is happening (if you want drama or action, it's not for you) but the romance and family life is cute, Kou is adorable just as much as Rodo and I'm so glad that they weren't any unnecessary drama in their couple.

after they got married, there's just nothing to look forward to. Because the world is just so boring there's nothing much to do or see. The world is so backward. There's not many professions besides ones that are the bare minimum to run the kingdom. Regular civilians are just living to live. No academic institutions. No interesting organizations. No competitive factions. No dreamlike destinations. No mysterious local legends. It's just home, barracks of different towns, magician towers of different towns, the castle. The world building is just super bland. World building is always something I look forward to in fantasy setting and this one is just disappointing.

About MC's development, his skills as magician and healer are already godly so there's not much development to see besides language aspect. At this point (ch80) I'm not really sure what I'm waiting for besides MC talking fluently. And well probably having kids.

3.9, I would say it's really slice of life with lil bit of conflict (the conflict is mostly self made) for me the most favorite part was when MC having children but I get concern with mc's mental if I say he still like typically Japanese MC (too peaceful, and make everything with no blood) it's not true, bcs we had seen mc's cruelty. My rating also include the feeling about lack in bonds between event (Idk to explain it but I don't feel they had compact story and... more>> I just don't feel it right) still it's enjoyable for u who craving light mofu mofu time <<less
