First review here

Having fun reading this so far, our protagonist grew up in a ‘village’ that is referred to as a Gu poison fuelled by 1, 000 children who were raised to become assassins.

Our protagonist escapes through some miracle and is introduced to the outside world for the first time in a long time. His stance on the world and its issues are quite unique and naive. Him being pretty strong of the bat and lack of remorse from his assassin training naturally makes the method of solving the issues... more>> he encounters with violence, of the deadly kind and not.

Overall - a strong, naive main character that is trying to find what he’s looking for with the world. I’d say keep an eye on this one, and pray that he has a good character development. <<less

I like it so far. I won't bother going too much in detail as the other reviews already explain the story but I will say don't expect to find something super unique in this one. Basically it is just op MC trying to make sense of the world after being forced to be an assassin for 10 years (MC is 20 years old). His main characteristics are: doesn't want to be forced or coerced to do anything, and he wants to learn more about the world (mostly social skills). I... more>> think the author so far (chapter 56) has handled this well. <<less

Actually, this is not so bad. The plot is interesting with deep character development. It feels like in every part, the MC continues to grow both in terms of character and abilities. Other characters that appear are also not pedestrian characters who are discussed briefly and then forgotten, but also experience growth. The MC influences other characters as he is influenced by them. Mysteries and plot twists are also solved one by one. It seems like the author really pampers the reader with slow but deep development, at least that's... more>> what I think.

Until around chapter 180, everything becomes different. The plot becomes messy. Becomes so rushed. As if the author is being chased by something. Everything becomes too light. Many characters are forgotten. Even though there are still other ranks in the other 30 MC colleagues who can still be explored further. I really regret this, even though if the author had stuck to his normal phased, this novel would have only ended around 300 or 400 chapters. Because there are still too many that can be explored, both in terms of worldbuilding and the characters in it.

I really feel sorry for this novel. <<less

This chapter works exceptionally well in advancing Harang's character while maintaining the intrigue around his growth. It shows how far he has come, how much respect he commands, and sets the stage for future developments. The duel is not just a test of strength but a test of character, and the resolution allows both Harang and Philip to evolve.

It's a fantastic blend of action, character development, and plot progression, and it leaves readers eagerly anticipating what's next for Harang and the Eddy family.
