I've read it several years ago so I don't really remember the entire plot, but it's such a fascinating story that I thought as a joke at first, but turns out to be emotionally pretty deep. Coming from author Seram who also wrote "Email from My Dead Lover", it is not so surprising anymore that the novel is written in such a unique way. But the story is still good, fresh, entertaining.

There are some parts that did not sit quite well with me, and some are also quite confusing and... more>> abrupt and a waste of potential, but the ending is nice. Predictable, but still good.

Sometimes MC annoyed the hell out of me with his actions and stubbornness, but looking back to what he had experienced while he was in ML' captivity, he deserved to act that way. ML's intentions were always good, but that doesn't just erase how traumatized and betrayed MC would feel upon learning the truth. It just made me realized that the whole thing might feel entertaining and curious from ML's perspective since he is an alien with a human pet, but from MC's POV, the whole thing was just hell.

Overall, my rate for this novel is 4.2/5. It's pretty entertaining and fresh.

To the translator (s) : You might want to check the cover for the character's name spellings. It's supposed to be Ladel and Kim Inu. <<less

Honestly? Strangely charming, for a novel about human fostering, lol (or is a more proper term adopting? Ack.) I'll say, I was scared for my sanity by clicking on this, but the writing is better than I would like to admit. Overall, the story is being well developed and the world is explained fairly, although our non human writer is basically a giant human with an insane amount of powers. Like, literally, there is nothing he can't do, which is not very exciting, as it makes it just too easy... more>> for him, in a way. Yet, he has flaws nevertheless (such as the human has), which makes them seem real, and that is one of the things this author succeeds on this novel.

The translation is awesome, props for the translator in this, btw. I don't really know what else to say, haha, but it is a easy and exciting read, so... recommended? It is not, wow, a story that will change someone's life, but it is a lovely novel to read when bored, even if it has questionable elements in it. Very interesting story ^ ^ <<less

The early chapters made me queasy. This story is initially told from the perspective of an alien inexpertly keeping a human as a pet. He makes a lot of well-meaning mistakes at first that would be traumatic to his "pet", but he doesn't realize this until later. He then begins trying to make up for his mistakes.

This is an interesting and emotional love story with a lot of character growth for the MC. Unfortunately the translation is currently paywalled after ch. 37 and the credits to buy chapters can't even... more>> be bought on the translator's site right now, so I don't know how it ends. Otherwise I would have probably given it 5 stars. <<less

I love the writing style and the story made me feel so bad for both of them. The MC (Radel an alien) quite literally doesn't understand the pain he's inflicted on the ML (Inho a pet human) Like a curious and innocent child imo but once he realizes how he hurt him, he regrets. He changes and becomes more human-like because of his love for Inho and even ... more>>

Lets him kill him once he finds out the truth even though his emotions where amplified in the process of stabbing him. HE EVEN OFFERS TO ERASE "RADEL" FOR HIM!!! (Basically killing his former self by erasing and implanting other memories)

Overall is a good read, it made me laugh and also feel sad. I understand both sides and believe they can achieve a healthy relationship

I really hope Radel doesn't die before Inho can process his emotions (he seems to want to forgive him, like he said he's both the person he loves and hates the most. He's his whole world, the one he imagined his future with for retirement and who he married... but he's also a painful traumatic reminded of the experience he went thru as only a pet, the humiliation and pain won't just go away easily) I just hope they can part in good terms so that inho isn't left feeling regret

I really like the story. Radel the alien (have aparance like human, but realli big) didn't understand about humans, so when he took care of Inho (the human pet), his demeanor is so innocent and adorable. He try too undertand about Inho well being, he even change his apperance and became small soo he can help Inho when he depress, sending Inho back to eart, and fall in love too Inho. The story is funny too, I really like when theres a sad and depressing part scene but Radel s*upid... more>> action make me laugh <<less
