Half way done with "A Lesbian Elf and a Cursed Princess" and besides the (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) moments this series is pretty cute/sweet. Will make an edit once finished.

Edit: Alright, just finished this series and though the le*d scenes were a little excessive, the story overall was pretty good and heartwarming. 4/5 for me ^~^

I enjoyed the characters, and as far as p*rn novels go, the story was good. Honestly, it was classic case of me wanting to skip through p*rn because story too interesting. I have to give it four stars mostly because I'm not sure if it's done. If it is, then they built up a lot of backstory for no payoff. It would be a good first two chapters if there was more after it, but the first chapter says there are only two, and I can't find any evidence otherwise.... more>> Good novel even without any of the s*x, and I really wish there was more.

Edit: There is more than one chapter, and I guess there were other people confused like me because the translators edited the table of contents to show that there were multiple other chapters. The story is still going great, and I love the relationship between the two girls. I can't wait to see how things develop further. <<less

I like this novel; above the smut fact it sort of feels balance, furthermore personally, it fills the lovey-dovey I like in novel (I mean not neceseraly smut) and there aren't a lot of Yuri/Shoujo Ai (more so fantasy) who make the main characters 'go together' and lovey-dovey (again, can, not be smut) before the end of the story, of which technically the smut isn't the objective of the story, but that is what I like, this is why I don't generally like smut, because it is like s*x for... more>> s*x, or just seems too pushed (well I don't know the objective of this novel so not sure though)

Good smut from now on (in my opinion) are smut where the story could go without the smut no problem, but the smut adds this lovey-dovey (or other good thing) which I think makes the story better. I might edit once I finish reading. <<less

To be honest, I have high expectations of this cause of the rating and reviews. Fortunately, I'm very satisfied... the segs scenes are muah! (chef's kiss). I also love the bond between the MC and the princess, it's my ideal ship lol-

Looked at title and it looked interesting, so I give this book a try. Didn’t take too long to figure out this book is smut. Meaning there are 18+ scenes in this book. If this is what you are looking for, I don’t think you will be disappointed. However, if this is not what you want, then this is not the book for you. Personally, this is the first smut I read and found that it took too much space. This is a one shot, meaning one book to develop... more>> good characters, plot, and reason for you care about both. Both plot and character development for me ended up being disappointing. Author placed all their efforts into the smut part which was not for me.

The book is about an elf that decides to go out to explore the world beyond what her hometown is. And as the title suggest, she ends up meting a cursed princess during her journey. I do like how the elf is learning how the world beyond her hometown is like. The good and the bad. I did like the Elf character. She had some character development throughout the book. From a naïve child to someone a little more mature. The princess character for me however seemed like a very static character throughout the book. Partly because she was introduced later in book and partly because smut took time away from progression of both plot and character development.

When plot did progress, it seemed forced. Often, it felt like author was simply trying to create situations to move onto smut. With actual plot being secondary to it and having to work around scenario he made for the smut. Best way I would describe this would be reading the LN version of a hentai plot. <<less

Overall, not too shabby. I do like to spice up my romance readings with a yuri or two every once in a while. And this story definitely managed to satisfy that craving. So, let's get right into this review and start with what I didn't like about it. Sometimes it feels like there is contradictory information given, or just stuff that isn't explained that well/explained weirdly. That kind of pulled me out of the story at times.

Here are a few examples of what I'm talking about. We see that Alferez lives alone in the mansion in the woods, and that the guards come to drop things off for her that she carries into the mansion, along with Rem. However, a bit later we're told that she doesn't do dishes and isn't used to doing small tasks like that? If she lives alone in the mansion, I would think that she has to do that kind of stuff. Also, Rem says that her aunt is pretty much the only person in the elf village that she talks to, but early in the story we see her talk to a guard. One last example; when Rem and Al are running away from her aunt chasing them in the mansion, Rem gets hit by an arrow with a sleeping drug that makes her fall asleep for 3 days. However, it took some for the effect to work. But later when Rem uses, supposedly, the same kind of arrow on a guard in front of the origin tree, he falls asleep immediately. I might just be nitpicking, but when there are quite a few inconsistencies it really rubs me the wrong way.

Well, other than that, the story was decent. The whole curse thing was pretty interesting, even though later I thought the going into heat part was a tad ridiculous.

Character wise, they were alright I guess. I don't know if I could actually describe the two main characters well. The princess is haughty and mean-spirited, sometimes. The elf is brash and honest, sometimes. Not much character development besides "freedom let's go" and relationship shenanigans.

Also they were sisters. Don't know why they needed to be sisters but hey, I'm kind of into that.

However, besides all of that the smut scenes were pretty (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) and the story had a satisfying conclusion. If you're looking for a smutty smut, this is definitely up your alley. <<less

It's clear that the little plot there is here was at the service of the s*x scenes. Our ret*rded protagonist (who is the biological daughter of two lesbians because of reasons that are important I guess) wanders around until she ends up falling prisoner to an even more ret*rded and annoying princess and eventually ends up being r*ped by her and pretty much starved half-dead. She then proceeds to r*pe the princess?? I guess?? Because of drugs??, you see how this goes.

This should've have more p*rn than plot because tbh... more>> everything is just way too dumb when you take the p*rn out <<less

You won’t be getting a masterpiece, but the story makes sense and the pace balances well with all the smut. I don’t know how to rate this exactly, but I enjoyed reading all the way through in two sittings and once I forget some of it I will probably come back again.

As far as smut novels go, this was a decent read (I don't mean the s*x scenes, but what you expect in terms of plot and characters from a smut novel). Unfortunately I didn't read all the tags before I've started reading, so I was forced to drop it around 5th volume - in*est is not my type of thing. Especially if it's this type of in*est, where the characters don't even care - "we are sisters, so what, let's f*ck and get married". No inhibitions, no moral dilema, they... more>> didn't even think twice about it, just straight up accepted the fact and f*cked again. Way too much for me. Since it's my fault I didn't read the tags carefully, I didn't incude it in the evaluation (otherwise it would be 2 instead of 4) <<less
