Driven mad by jealousy after her fiancé was stolen from her, the princess attempted to summon a demon, using the lady who stole him as a sacrifice. However, at that moment, the crown prince, who was her half-brother, rose up and defeated both the demon and the princess.

this start of great as a premise, but failed in the execution part. the writer wants an aloof happy go lucky character, but it turns out bitter and a bit not sane.

what the MC did is not how an MC of a happy go lucky act, its a bitter one. thats fine, like the character monologue might be saying they're fine, but then the reader realized they are not. the author did put a bit of those premise in, but then when its time that a bitter character should act,... more>> the author pushed "i am highly aloof" agenda onto the MC again, and its like seeing a bipolar honestly.

there's no wisdom of an old age youd expected from the MC, nor the emotional maturity, which while it could be played on as a body's age thing, but the MC should be aware of that if she lived like... her entire mortal life, twice even, honestly I think they just don't know how to write a convincing old age character. <<less

Unlike many other reviewers, I found myself genuinely captivated by this story. As someone in my 40s whose perspectives and beliefs have evolved over time, I deeply resonated with the protagonist's mindset and decisions—especially considering she's on her third life and has lived for over a century. Her maturity and introspection felt authentic and well-grounded.

While the initial chapters may feel like a slow burn, the true depth of the story—its action, emotional intensity, and rich lore—truly begins to unfold around chapter 70. I highly recommend giving it a fair shot at least up to chapter 70—you won't regret it. <<less

I don't know why the Novel Updates doesn't show but there's Chapters 1-11 on the site to read for free if you go there.

I find the MC's name to pronounce in my head so I have been calling her Labi and she seems to be the in control type while putting on the façade of incompetence or more like, she's not even disagree with anyone. From what she said in the last chapter I read it was clear that she has no urge to try hard and just wants to... more>> enjoy life. So she's felt no need to contradict the rumours until now.

The idiot fiancé Prince will hopefully get pushed out of the way for a better lead and the White Lotus cousin will hopefully get what's coming to her.

I also believe that the cousin is secretly her half sister or stepsister as the FL seems to believe herself from the similarities to her stepmother.

Each chapter seems very short and I might let it brew a bit more before I read it again.

First life she was a princess that wasn't believed to be good even though she was and was misunderstood all the time. She tried hard to fight the accusations only for them to get worse. Second Life she lived in modern Japan until she was in her late 80's Current Life she's the ducal daughter in the same universe as she was a princess before and is being misunderstood by her Prince fiancé all while being set up as a villain by her annoying white lotus cousin. She's mentally very much a grandma still and will have no time for their S$%*

Slow and boring. It's one of those stories where a same person has no empathy for the character. At some point being ab*sed becomes your fault. Like when you are under powerful but let's your arm be broken and find your brother who just attacked you to be "adorable" she deserves the bad things that have happened to her. She's over 100 she's knows these actions are not okay but the incompetent author seems to thing lazy people are fine being ab*sed because they are lazy.
