when the ML was still in his mortal form, at least he was likable.. but then when he came back as the ancient god, he just annoys the sh*t out of me. Not only that he set the marriage between the MC and the playboy guy from heavenly realm, he have the nerve to feel jealous when she was close to her subordinates, even went as far as to humiliate her by beating her in sparring session in front of her troops, he's like thousands years old god while she was still a young lady compared to him. He's like that school bully in elementary school that bully the girl he likes. Always makes fun of her, but hate it when she was cold to him but warm to her friends.

I don't understand why people would like this ML..

I remember she was talking about her wearing a feminine skirt for the first time and all of the men that went passed her got scared or laughed at her which caused her to never put on a feminine dress on again. ? Which was rather sad because I thought she would have looked awesome if given the right dress!

I remember when she was thrown into the water in her "chicken" form by the main male lead because apparently "she needed a bath" and she was like "I can't swim!" in bird language. ? And when he kept clucking at her like she was only a chicken pet! HAHAHAHA! ? Ahh... the memories. ?

And that the demons were also a god race that helped sealed the "evil demons" from escaping. Basically they were the guards to watch over the time rip that an ancient god helped sealed those evil demons in for heaven and nether/hell realms.

She was confessed to by one of her admirer's, Mo Fang (I love this guy ?), but she turned down his love confession because she still had feelings for the main male lead after his "death". (spoiler - I won't go into detail if he really died or not, but you'll find out more secrets after reading the story). Even after the male lead "died" she said she wouldn't look for his reincarnation because the man she loved was only that man in that life time and that it would be pretty pointless to find the reincarnation because he wouldn't be the same person she loved and knew. Which was pretty realistic thinking if you asked me.

I first thought that Xing Yun was King's fiance but when the real fiance was introduced I completely throw that idea out of my mind. And after knowing that Xing Yun died I wanted to drop the novel because come on can anyone beat Xing Yun and became the male MC??The answer is NO. But then a new character, well can't say He's new, was introduced and I was back to loving this novel

I don't get the over-arching plot because it wasn't really explained. How did the previous Demon Lord even survive having his head cut off ? Did this remnant of a soul even have a plan for revival ? How did his faction gather power and resources ? They weren't caught in the ruins ? So how they know the previous Lord survived ? What was even their plan ? In the end they were just aiming to have the ML die, that was the whole point ? It seems he dying anyway so... Why was Fu whatever immortal ?

Why did Xing Zhi not do anything for a thousand years after making the non perfect seal that caused endless suffering to the demons ? It feels like in a thousand years he could go twice a year inside to kill a few dozen monsters getting everything cleared in like 100 years tops. How did the monsters even survive in the Ruins ? Was there food and water inside ? We know Shen Li needed food...

Couldn't the King of the Monsters, who is apparently a pretty great guy, just make them calm down eliminating the need for the whole sacrifice thingy ? He clearly wasn't bound to the previous Demon Lord considering he just killed him casually. If he wasn't a great guy, then Xing Zhi's plan of self sacrifice would have allowed him to become the strongest remaining being the three realms ? He would have just conquered them or at least terrorized them.

If the bad guys didn't replace the four external elements of the seal, since Xing Zhi had no such plan of his own and unbeknownst to himself he was losing his power, then without the bad guys, Xing Zhi would have just died one day taking the Ruins and the Demon realm down at once ? So they actually saved everyone ?

Both leads are authority figures who shoulder heavy responsibilities within their realms (MC is from demon realm and ML is from outer-heaven). This means they cannot and should not pursue their feelings for each other, otherwise they'd be going against the will of heaven.

It was absolutely heart-wrenching watching them struggle to suppress and deny themselves.... and then to see them overcome these restraints and choose each other, even at the cost of losing their life/opportunity to reincarnate... wuwuwuwuwuw guuuyyys it was so beautiful I honestly couldn't stop crying ♡

I was a bit worried thinking this was heading down the tragedy route and was ready to leave one of those unreconciled "THIS IS NOT FAIR AURTHOR-NIM" reviews. But it's all good, this has a HE *phew* haha

Every single dire situation the MC finds herself in, the ML is nearby or had a way of preventing it. Normally this wouldn't bother me because well the plot has to move somehow, but the underlying problem here is we have a supposedly beyond godlike MC that is only powerful when talked about or when it doesn't matter. Multiple situations pop up where someone sneaks past this guy who is supposed to be able to contend with the heavens, but somehow they're able to capture or injure the MC.

I guess its just a inevitable problem you are going to run into making one of the leads the "most powerful being". You need to put some effort into how you're going to develop a plot with a villain that isn't equally matched. It also doesn't help that the antagonist's whole plan made zero sense nor was the end goal even established
