Its fun for now. There isn't really any overarching narrative. Simple SoL.

So the protagonist gets a Romance System that pops up with suggestions based on his target. It is pretty powerful since it even works without needing to be face to face. The limits are a bit blurry which helps keep the story light hearted. He is using the system in a good enough way to have fun for now.

The novel is just starting so I am expecting him to get entangled with a lot of women but given the nature of his system, I am not really surprised. Also I love harem so win for me. Also his sisters are potentially heroines due to him being adopted and the actions what we have seen which hints at them knowing this but we will see if the Author got the guts to go that route or will he reverse it later due to reader backlash..

My one gripe is that he is not very responsible ? A bit naive? He has relationships with these women but never thinks of how he will handle the inevitable reality when they meet each other. Hopefully he grows over the course of the story and starts take actions proactively rather than waiting for sh*t to hit the fan.

Its fine to read if you want to turn off your brain and read some light hearted harem story. Due to AI TL the text has the trademark AI bolding and other things so be warned if that is something you find relevant. I didn't find any major issues beyond the name of his sister which changed midway.

A fun and lighthearted read. Shen Lang starts off as awkward and unlucky in love, but things take a hilarious turn when he suddenly gets a Romance System. The story doesn’t take itself too seriously, which makes it easy to enjoy.

The interactions—especially with his landlady—are funny and a bit over-the-top, but that’s part of the charm. It’s a mix of rom-com and system-driven antics, perfect if you’re in the mood for something silly, sweet, and entertaining.
