After Being Stranded in the Wilderness, I Became the Bride of the Giant Tribe

One day, Yu Bai transmigrated into a prehistoric era dominated by orcs.

In this wild and untamed world, male beasts were powerful, female beasts were rare, and as a sub-female, he was the most insignificant and easily overlooked type of “orc.” Surviving was no easy task.

After a violent storm and a beast tide swept through the land, Yu Bai rescued a gravely injured giant from the ruins.

Using his dwindling supply of medicine, he treated the giant’s wounds and fed him, pulling him back from the brink of death.

He swore that he only did it out of sudden compassion, definitely not because the other party was good-looking.

Huo Duo’er nearly lost his life in a fierce beast tide while protecting his tribe.

He was saved by a sub-female. This sub-female did not despise his injuries from head to toe, nor did he abandon him because he was blind.

One day, as Huo Duo’er’s facial wounds and eyesight gradually healed and he finally saw the sub-female’s appearance.

Under the sunlight, the small sub-female was basking in the warmth, his crescent-shaped eyes curving into a smile.

It was said that sub-females were the most unremarkable among orcs, but to Huo Duo’er, the little sub-female before him was more captivating than any female beast.

A new announcement spread throughout the orc world: any male beast who formed a bond with a female would be granted a plot of land in the orc city.

Yu Bai was tempted.

Life in the wild was incredibly unstable—houses painstakingly built and crops newly planted could be destroyed at any moment by a rampaging beast tide.

In order to secure a plot of land in the city, Yu Bai sought out the giant he had rescued and asked if they could fake a bond—after all, they could share the land once they obtained it.

Huo Duo’er agreed.

Yu Bai then laid down three ground rules:

1. All resources obtained after bonding would be shared.

2. No bedroom obligations, sleeping separately would be ideal.

3. If either of them developed feelings for another male or female beast in the future, the bond could be dissolved.

After the contract bond was formed, Yu Bai finally had land, built a house, and no longer had to worry about hunger and cold. Life became more stable.

However, why did Huo Duo’er, the one he had always treated like a brother, hug him tighter in his sleep?

Weren’t they supposed to sleep separately?

One winter night, snow fell heavily outside the window.

Yu Bai looked at the handsome face just inches away and slowly pulled back the hand Huo Duo’er had wrapped around him.

Then he thought: Forget it, let him hold me. He’s afraid of the cold, and honestly, being held like this is quite warm.

Later, for some unknown reason, Huo Duo’er kissed him, his gaze deep and intense.

Yu Bai closed his eyes and kissed him back for a while, thinking: Forget it, let him kiss. My lips feel numb… and this sensation is actually… quite exciting.

Only a few chapters in so far sampling this series, but something I wanted to comment on: I think this is the first time I've seen a tornado depicted in a webnovel? It's described accurately too, not like a weird funnel appearing in what's otherwise a miscellaneous scary storm.

The "beast tide" is recognized as a secondary disaster on top of an already disastrous thunderstorm, the loud roar of the tornado is heard as it touches down, ears hurt from pressure changes, there's a strong stench, the storm starts at around... more>> dusk, and the storm ends suddenly after it passes (as opposed to tapering out like other storms might). The author actually knows a thing or two about tornadoes, and this reader appreciates it. <<less
