Up to 161, it is still too early to tell what the true story of his background is with so many twists. For now, he seems to be truly of Yan family's descent being the 3rd son bc the Nanny Sun did not switch the baby and so the Eldest Princess unknowingly killed her own child. With so many twists, I wonder if this is the final answer lol.

up to 161, an important detail that has yet to spawn is that her father seems to be hiding a possible secret of FL's birth. I am guessing that she might be related to the Pavillion Master Lang. Maybe his sister isn't dead? Maybe this mystery will solve the issue of her poor health.

Right after the MCs got married, FL succumbed to her health issues and decided to leave ML. ML stated unknowingly that if FL dies then he will follow her and she didn't want that. She wanted to trick him into waiting for her to 10 years to get cured. Of course ML doesn't buy it. Anyway, she left but got caught and in the process lost her 7 emotions, and became unfeeling and unkind despite having all her memories. I will skip these chapters bc I hate amnesia arcs in all of my novels and this is just a spinoff of that. However, there is still fluff where ML just goes along with what his wife wants even when her personality split. This arc gets resolved in chapter 246. In between then, there is a lot of movement between 2nd Chu sister's storyline.
