In her previous life, Lou Mingyue was a legend in the imperial capital. At the age of 22, she was already a “super boss” standing at the top. Finally, she was eventually killed by her trusted aides and died at the age of twenty-five, becoming an unreachable peak in the hearts of countless people.

When she opened her eyes again, rebirth after twenty years, she became a second-year student of Linnan No. 1 Middle School.

Then——the primary school chickens shivered: “Jiang Fuyue, she got a perfect score in the exam again! The physics teacher came to her again for the answers! The math teacher said that she will have her give out the exam questions next month!”

Big Brother No. 1: “Only when she comes back will my world have light.”

Big Brother No. 2: “If she wants the stars, I will pick them, and if she wants the moon, I will go and catch it. I will give everything to her in exchange for a smile.”

Big Brother No. 3: “Sister, can you forgive me? I’ll give you money, the company, and my life.”

….Big Brother No. n: “One day as a younger brother, for life as a younger brother. After this cup of tea, the Lun family is again yours!”

All the juniors were stunned: my grandfather/second uncle/third uncle/eldest aunt/great grandma/ great grandfather… have gone crazy?

She is the moon in the sky, the inextinguishable light, the guiding light, the cinnabar, and everyone’s belief.

… Xie family’s Ninth Master has been having a headache recently, and his little nephew was beaten just after transferring to another school. It is said that the other party is a girl who weighs less than 100 pounds.

Two days later——little nephew: “Uncle, I want to chase her!”

Ninth Master: “?” Hello? Is your brain sick? And later –

Ninth Master: “I have a disease in my brain.”

surprisingly there isn't a review here...

I just want to say that this was written really well. as long as you're interested in an OP genius MC who works hard to improve the nation and her OP ML who treasures her. the MC is proactive and not passive in their relationship which was a huge bonus.

it's still relatively different from other transmigration novels, she directly transmigrates to 20 years in the future which was excellent and refreshing... the past relationships and entanglements are not dog-blood and are handled alright.

she dabbles in... more>> various industries but this is mostly academic wise compared to other novels where you dabble in show-biz, business, military, under-ground big boss etc...I mean it doesn't have very tiny aspects but is not significant...

honestly, this is just an OP MC with the protag buff completing miracles and being the hero. I love this kind of sh*t and it's extremely stimulating.... as long as you don't mind so illogical things and overstretched possibilities, sit back and enjoy. <<less

A 4 is too high, a 3 is too low, so probably a 3.5 star. I think this is just ok. The most interesting part to me was the MC transmigrating 20 years into the future to 2050 after she was killed and starts to re-collect her forces and regain her strength again. She's pretty OP and super smart. Apparently, even 20 years of missing knowledge does not stop her. Unfortunately, there's not much difference in the year 2050 vs present day. There's no flying cars, light brains, etc. so... more>> it kinda just feels like a modern day setting. I really like how she plays a high school student by day but at night, she's the top boss of the organization. Then there are all the men who loved her in her first life and they eventually figure out that she's back and starts to gather around again. It's funny to see two men in their 40s fight each other over her, who is now an 18 year old high school student. Of course, there's no actual romance anymore because they are much older than her but I would say they respect her more than wanting to be lovers. Most of these men were trained by her or saved by her so it's understandable that she is a irreplaceable moonlight in their hearts. And these 2 men actually have sons who also fall for MC and it was also funny when they found out.

Now, there are quiet a lot of reasons why I didn't rate this very high. The main issue I have is how the author portrayed relationships between MC and potential love interests.

Spoiler

There are a lot of boys her age that fall for her so they start to pursue her. However, one of them (ML's nephew) starts calling her wife even knowing full well that she already said no. She told him she's not interested in him multiple times, yet, he's still telling people they're bf/gf or that she's sister-in-law to his friends, etc. It's honestly so annoying that you tell a guy no but they think sooner or later you'll just change your mind so it's ok to not take the "no" seriously. That's so disrespectful to the girl. I kinda think the author does this because he's the ML's nephew and the ML is portrayed as a tsundere so he has to "force" the ML to feel jealous, etc.

[collapse]

And then there's the ML and MC's relationship. I guess I'm just biased because I don't really like guys who are mean to girls and then later are nice because they start to fall for the girl. So they're just a horrible person in reality but it's ok because at least they treat the MC nicely. I really can't stand that logic.

Spoiler

Like, MC didn't do anything wrong in the first place. All she did was tell ML's nephew to get out of her way (multiple times by now) and when he refused to, she grabbed his throat. I can understand why the ML had a misunderstanding because all he saw was her grabbing his nephew so it's ok for him to protect him by slamming her away. However, the author already explained that when he was apologizing, he didn't really mean it. Even if he knew his nephew was in the wrong, then he just wanted to settle it with some compensation. Sorry, but if you're a 28 year old man and you slam an 18 year old girl around and then think you can just get off with sending her some "compensation" and don't even apologize to her sincerely, then you are just an entitled scum. Can't you be an adult and admit you were wrong so apologize sincerely? I really don't understand why the author wrote that scene in and then later try to whitewash him. Even if a guy doesn't like girls, they don't need to randomly hate them or think every single female they see is out to get them. Honestly, that's just so sad to see that the author thinks they needs to make a man so evil so that they can convince the readers he can only truly love the MC. You can also be a nice person, be nice to other people and still only love one person. It's not that hard to just be a decent person.

So honestly, I dislike this ML. He only "learns" after getting to know the MC better and falling in love. But even then, the author makes him a tsundere who does not want to admit he has feelings for MC. I mean, aren't you 28?? Why are you still trying to act like a middle-schooler and tell everyone you met you don't like her and treat her poorly??? For example, MC was just walking on the street one time and ML sees her, steps on the accelerator on his car, and speeds in front of her only stopping within inches of hitting her. HE DROVE HIS CAR, PRETENDING TO HIT HER, JUST TO SCARE HER, BECAUSE HE WANTED TO SEE A REACTION FROM HER. ARE. YOU. JOKING. LIKE. SERIOUSLY. I can't believe a grown man wants to run his car into someone 10 years younger than no matter what the reason is. It's crazy and I can't believe the author thought it was such a good idea they wrote it in the novel.

[collapse]

And then, there's all the competition scenes and in-depth descriptions of math/physics/programming/etc. I respect the author's dedication into actually giving examples of physics problems and explaining answers, theories, etc. However, this goes a bit more than just a few sentences. There's literally paragraphs of explanations and while reading these, I start to think, is the author a math/physics teacher?? Am I reading a novel or a textbook?? I mean, I respect the dedication but it's a bit too much to the point of me just skipping those paragraphs. And then the competitions scenes just goes on and on and all I really wanted was more of the non-competition scenes. I'm not reading this to pass my math class, I'm reading this because I want to see how OP she is (outside of academics) and how much stronger she can get and what happened in the past. So it got boring quick for me.

Another part that I skipped was competition with other countries. I know CN novels always have that patriotism writing to them so they always have to feel superior when comparing themselves with other countries. But they don't have to write too much about it or try so hard to show how good they are vs the world. Some novels do it better than others, but this one is not really one of them.

Spoiler

For example, during one competition, there was a country R that was causing trouble so they were supposed to get kicked out. However, they managed to keep one contestant and his name is Hamasaki Chiba. So.... you know "country R" is actually Japan. And there's a lot of bad blood between Japan in China. Just the scene where they were causing trouble was just so cringe really made this novel drop a lot of points for me. And of course there were people who was recording this scene in which the MC was saying "even the country that once caused us great pain and suffering, we responded with tolerance, friendship and generosity... how can we, the great chinese nation, a nation of propriety, have the same views as those of rats and scoundrels?" And the video was titled "The great country of chinese etiquette" etc. Like, do you really have to go that far??? This is supposed to be year 2050 and the world was supposed to be more "advanced" yet, we're still bringing this up??? And of course this video goes viral online so everyone is praising MC but you call them rats and scoundrels yet say you're tolerance, generous, and just want to be friends??? Honestly, author could have word it differently? I don't want to comment too much on politics and China/Japan issues, but I just want to read a fun novel with an OP MC. I can deal with a bit if xenophobia, but if it's this blatant then it's a bit hard to swallow.

[collapse]

Anyways, I tried to continue to read and I skipped a lot of parts along the way (mainly competitions). I haven't finished MTL-ing this yet so maybe it'll get better towards the end, I don't know. Although, I'm thinking she's going to go to university and then start doing research/projects/etc. so it'll probably still focus more on academics rather than other things. Which is fine if you like these sorts of novels. If you can ignore all the little things then it's decent and not too boring. The MC herself is strong and independent and pretty likable normally. So I wouldn't say this is a bad read or a great read, it is just ok IMO. <<less

I really missed reading this genre of light novels. So so good.

OP MC and ML. While some may dislike this trope, I personally think that if it's done right, overpowered main characters are fun to read about. This novel delivers just the right amount.

The reverse harem-y plot. Though the ML is apparent, our one-in-a-million genius MC had managed to attract quite a number of suitors, both from her past and present lives. However, all side male characters are written well and are not obsessive. They admire the MC from a... more>> distance after they know she fell in love with our ML.

ML is a cutie. At the start of the novel he was a typical cold, CEO type character. He would've been a boring archetype if it weren't for his nephew's funny character being put in contrast to his straight male character. After he admits to falling in love with MC, he becomes more soft, cute and pleasing to the eye.

I usually dislike the pregnancy trope but this novel handled that part of the novel very refreshingly.

All side characters are fleshed out. We see all of the characters growing up and changing throughout the novel and I like that.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this novel. Although it had a lot of chapters, I never felt like giving it up halfway through or anything. <<less

I agreee with the other review

This story have mary sue MC and male lead. What I personally like about this story is how the MC bring good changes to the others and the environment of the education in the story. It's also have comedic scene and the reverse harem genre is good. The MC is trully a white moonlight for others.

I will comeback to this novel again again when I am feeling down because it's give me some motivation. I enjoyed it very much
