Wei Qin is the villainous demon lord from a poorly-ended shounen manga.
After careful scheming and planning, he was unexpectedly defeated by the overpowered protagonist group through the power of friendship and died due to plot convenience. Then, he transmigrated.
He happened to transmigrate into the home of Jiang Qiu, the very author of that manga.
Casually flipping through Jiang Qiu’s diary, he found entries like “I feel sick whenever I see my boss’s face” and “Demons! They’re all demons!”
Ah, so that’s how it is. It seems this mortal is being ens*aved by demons, forced to work and sacrifice himself for them.
Wei Qin couldn’t accept that there could be villains more evil than himself. Gritting his teeth, he made a decision:
He would destroy the old villains of this world and establish a new rule—a new demon lord’s castle!
But before that—
Wei Qin decided to endure hardship and bide his time by temporarily staying in the home of this weak mortal, pretending to be under his care.
Watching Jiang Qiu, who had just returned home and was still clueless, Wei Qin thought so.
***
Jiang Qiu is a manga artist.
A villainous demon lord he once created has transmigrated into his house.
Whenever this demon lord speaks, black-and-white internal monologue boxes float beside him.
Jiang Qiu gives up his room for him.
Wei Qin (coldly): Much obliged.
Inner thoughts: I’m only pretending to be cared for by you. Once you leave, I’ll begin training my body and plotting the revival of my grand cause!
Jiang Qiu watches Wei Qin fall asleep within seconds in the soft bed and quietly covers him with a blanket.
***
Wei Qin demands that Jiang Qiu redraw his biography as a wise and mighty hero.
Jiang Qiu draws it—but it’s about the demon lord’s daily s*upidity. Unexpectedly, it becomes explosively popular, gaining him a huge fanbase.
Wei Qin thinks his revival plan is progressing well.
Emboldened, Wei Qin becomes louder and more outrageous in his plotting—until someone can’t take it anymore and confronts him.
Passerby A: Are you suffering from chuunibyou?
Jiang Qiu immediately rushes over to cover Wei Qin’s ears and harshly drives the person away.
He worked so hard to comfort this dumb demon lord!
What if he curls up in a corner crying again? Who’s going to be responsible then?!
