The stuff being talked about a lot:

1. MLS 'rapey' behavior, yes it kind of makes sense. Not gonna sugar coat it it does look like it. I may look like I'm trying to tone down the seriousness of the SA topic but I noticed that this 'rapey' behavior happens when ML is in a character setting not relatively connected to humans- aka he is a ghost, monster, god, etc. Something that has no 'morality' or 'human ethics'. That doesn't give him an excuse but it's a pattern that I have noticed.

But here is another pattern I've noticed.

When the ML hurts the MC, ML actually felt guilty. Like he really did, in one of the arcs the MLs character setting is that he is a Warden for a prison and the couple does a black room play, bondage, chains, etc. After the ML realizes what's he's done, even though MC was a detained person, and regardless of the MLs possessive nature, ML let MC go and even cried when the MC was recovering from their coupling. (He is seen as someone practically emotionless so it shows that regardless of instinct he loves MC but a large margin)

An arc where ML had a split personality or something? He thought he was human but he was in fact a ghost, his ghost counterpart 'attacked' MC and MLs human counter part didn't know of it. But when the memories mixed in, ML was guilty and was willing to sacrifice himself to keep MC safe. Also ML didn't touch MC again after realizing what he did. Showing the he himself feels guilty and knows what he did is wrong on his part and even when the MC explains that he was alright with it and that if it were someone else they'd be dead, ML still shows hesitence and regret.

In one other arc the ML was a mist (it's the extras arc) he realized he hurt MC and didn't meet him for many days and when he got back to MC, ML was all shriveled up and weak.

All that happened whithin games, now for the dorms areas, MC has shown consent and because he knew it was his husband.

But hey I understand it is a rough thing to slip pass by or graze and stuff, and that's okay! It can be uncomfortable and that I understand so if that type of well.. Grey area doesn't suit you that's okay!

2. The topic regarding how MC is being 'hand held' through and through the arcs is just... Sigh.

Listen, ML is guiding MC to get back faster and deal with the problems faster. Yes the ML did help MC a lot but not to the point of handheld. MC still had to use his brain to actually find the clues, it only looked easy because ML and MC have been together for so long they practically know what the others gon do in that situation. So in essence the clues MC finds look like it was just handed over to him because ML knows how he'd act and place it in that spot or place a clue at that time.

Yes it may look like hand holding but hand holding meant MC was given the things he needed in a silver platter and just lay down and do nothing but MC actually put in effort. He searched for clues, killed beasts, communicated, had enemies and stuff. Heck he even almost died in some, yes ML saved him. but what did you expect that's his other half in danger, so of course he has to save him! The hand holding stuff if you could even call it that was how the ML gave MC a lot of points to ascend through the floors quickly and MC still had to work for that.

3. The s*xual gratification, that if MC slept with ML he'd get something out of it. Yes that has happened but in my perspective even if they didn't snu snu ML will still give stuff to the MC, it's their way of showing affection to each other. Yes that could have been an option but MLs fragments have deep infatuation with MC, even after fragmenting and having zero memories the MLs fragmented souls loves (and lusts) for the MC. And most of the time MC and ML just do it to cool down (if I remember correctly sorry I have gold fish memory)

4. The fact that they 'disregard' the occasion and the people around them when they boom baysh. Well to be fair the MLs fragments don't know sh*t about the time limit of the game and the people? Girl ML is pe*verted duh they'd do that type of play. Yes they disregarded the situation but not in critical moments, at most the most critical thing was with the Warden Arc and the again the mls don't know sh*t about the time limit. And if the MC hints on it the ML tho reluctantly, would still give them time and space since. Happy wife = Happy Life

And before someone says but the MC could have stopped him! Yes he could have but he didn't why? because he himself was into it and was in that moment. Just because one of the two is h**ny as hell that doesn't mean BOTH cant be h**ny as hell. Poor choices? Maybe, Was it worth it? MC and MLs XPs tingled everytime. And also MC wants some snuggling to recharge ig

Which I also remember when ML and MC banged inside the Cinema while the MCs guild waited for their meeting, I do feel guilty for it and they did disregard the situation and this may seem like s*xual gratification cause MC got something really useful. The reason was MC found DJs or aka comic fanfics about the two of them and well got curious so they tested it out... For a whole day or two... Sigh that doesn't help them but just putting it up there. Which makes me realize that the Plap Plap time = rewards could be seen and it's understandable why it's seen.

5. About the topic where MC is the only one able to solve the stuff... Bro he is one a God who has been alive for a lot of lifetimes and the game didn't (it was implied I think) plan to keep players alive. So only really smart people could answer the stuff and heck the games are confusing one clue leads to this but if some points go unnoticed you'd get the wrong answer. And once again MC IS A DAMN GOD. Which could be also seen as plot armor. And also hubbies love is plot armor.

Okay reread some comments, so still on number 5. ML being a cheat to accessing certain areas is something that helped speed up the process, yes it is a cheat and I can't defend it, some leads to areas inaccessible to the normal players. This for one can be a turn of since OMG cheating, 5.1. It was so players could be safe (I'm talking about the undead arc)

5.2. I don't really remember but most of the areas aren't actually inaccessible but just hard areas to reach, please comment if I'm missing something.

While ML looses his memory in each instance MC correspondingly gives himself different character setting to seduce his husband (from white lotus to green tea MC will show all his various sides), so it's really fun to see their interactions. Though ML does remember things at end of some instances.

The games are bugged, the system/boss just doesn't bother to fix them, because having whole batches of newcomers die in their first, unsolvable, instance isn't important, the other bugs that ruin instances apparently aren't either.

Relatively few instances are bugged to hell and back but of course MC's are.

That's honestly an impressive way to explain every plot hole that's going to pop up, instead of just not generating any and putting some serious effort into your story.

Basically ML is stuck in the game and waiting to be absorbed by the evil system admin? game? and this is where the MC comes from. To save the ML from the evil clutch.

Seems like a fairy tale but when someone actually reached inside the game, there is no way out. The things about fulfilling your wishes is just a wishful thinking. Especially when the player reached level 900, their freedom is doom.

There are some player who actually come 10-20 years ago and still there. The MC need everyone helps, especially ML who knew what happened first to release everyone from this evil entity. ML actually self-insert himself in every game for the purpose of helping MC. That's why there is so many inhuman character of ML.

Idk, foreshadowing (more like fore-hit you over the head with a boulder) that husband is trapped. That is the only thread making me slightly interested.

the diamond mountain arc was so grieving. The way ML created a path for the MC with his body (literally) for thousands of years got me to tears and made me realise that this is love. And it can only exist in my nation called imagination cause I can't believe that such untainted love exists in reality.

It's overall an interesting read, but I'm stopping at 119, personally because the ML's growing obsession is hitting me in the most annoying way. I just can't keep looking past it with how I see it myself. I understand the reason, and it's very in-line with how the first novel went where Baili Xin was gathering the fragments of Dijia and they fell in love in many different lifetimes always stronger than the last. And again the time constraints together with the looming tasks don't leave a lot of time to let MC/ML interaction be gradual and they already have an established love. But it comes off a little frustrating because only MC has the memory of those times while ML only has that vague feeling of pointed interest.

One of the ghosts in the school is a trans girl who was bullied in school for being trans. Although the general idea is that she is valid and shouldn't have been tortured like she was, throughout the arc they (the translation) keep referring to her as a he.

In this village, when a man and a woman marry, the women are always actually men who are forcibly turn into women when they get married. A canon fodder character gets involved with one of these wives. Everyone plays him for laughs that he's actually sleeping with a man and he starts gagging when he finds out. But these 'men' turn into anatomical women who can give birth n everything. He still slept with a woman.
