So, you just expect us to believe that they didn't do a proper autopsy on a patient? I couldn't suspend my disbelief for that scene because MC just so naturally took up someone's entire existence despite this person realistically having photo Id, finger prints, etc. Identity theft doesn't happen by accident

I cried really really hard when he always wait at the car, waiting for ChengYan to appear and to play with him like always.

I think one part of the reason the MC chose to become QZ was because of QZ's grandpa (or grandma? the MTL randomly changed their gender every chapter. argh.) When they first met, the granny mistook him for QZ and was really nice to him. This probably gave him ideas. It also made him feel guilty cuz he's part of the reason that QZ's dead. So he took on the role of QZ, tried to become the 2nd QZ and tried really hard to support the granny. Even thought of selling his body so the granny could get treatment...

I saw red herrings that the granny's soon gonna recognize that he's not the real QZ and then his cover's gonna blow. *smirking raccon rub hands. jpg*

the clothes, accessories and perfume was never the 'white moonlight's' aesthetic. the clothes were from a brand that ML's mother's company has. every year, the company would send the new collection in MC's sizes to ML and what the 'white moonlight' had was merely bought from his own money.

why the ML treats the 'white moonlight' well, from young, although the kidnapping incident happened, it was mentioned by ML that the two kids took care of each other but the media exaggerated that the 'white moonlight' took the brunt of it. anyway, ML'S family is obv strong and thus his elders always told him, when young, that he should treat the guy well and take care of him well. (much like brainwashing ig and it stayed with him.)

ofc I'm not trying to invalidate MC's feelings and I still think the reasoning is bull but it gives an insight. the ML obv has trouble trying to sort out his emotions, when his mother died, he threw away the camera, bcs his mother loved taking pictures, and was stoic through the whole thing.

ML's group of friends truly s**ked and I'm pretty sure he didn't give a damn about them but just goes out to feel some sort of hussle and bustle.

in the end, ML decided that enough was enough and cut out the 'white moonlight' and he never appeared until the end bcs ML basically forbid him from reentering Nancheng, 'white moonlight called to ask if he could come back' and basically ML asked MC and ML said he'd listen to MC. so he never came back. this part got me 🫠 bcs idk how I feel about it. like can't ML do it himself and not just listen to MC? but ig I understand it. anyways.

oh and the blindfold and doggy style was basically just his s*xual preference in some sense. doggy, bcs the position felt good and he could reach deeper and blindfold, I couldn't rly understand the mtl... it was kinda said in passing in later chapters (towards the end ig), as he didn't like seeing him cry (prob during sex) but now he does. (or he actually liked the eyes but smth smth. idk.)

not kissing was bcs he wasn't in love with the MC at that time and said kissing was too intimate (for bed partners) but he grew to love him over the 5 years but took it for granted.

MC knew they were only bed partners bcs that's what they agreed on at first.

He's incompetent and keeps giving useless "real talk" advice. The ML has been having hallucinations of the MC for years and this guy just kept advising to start a new life and move on. He also keeps breaching patient-doctor confidentiality by sharing to ML details about his other patient, the ML's cousin. He also keeps badgering ML to take his counseling services. Everytime they meet! And even when they're in public. Lyk, why don't you just advertise that the ML has been seeing a therapist. I know it's not shameful to have one but some ppl don't want it advertised in public ok?! He's also too nosey and meddlesome but I don't see genuine concern for his patients. Because if he has, he should've referred ML to another specialist because ML was obviously not getting better and he's obviously incompetent.

There's also a part where he had to close his clinic because he didn't have a client anymore since the ML stopped going there. Lolol I wonder why he doesn't have clients..... 😅😅

The author kinda explained the reason for his sc*m behavior towards the mc

the ML suddenly starts treating the MC like a kid and comparing everything he does to a kid, like because the MC has insomnia he is supervised while going to bed like he's just a kid throwing a tantrum because it doesn't want to sleep??? I especially don't understand where the insensitivity of the ML comes from since he also went through insomnia before... also when the dog does things he isn't allowed to and doesn't usually do while only MC is at home it's the fault of MC, because he is a naughty kid who can't be left alone at home...??? And so on... this f*cking weirded me out. And also how the MC never cleared up all the stuff thats been troubling him in their past relationship but still doesn't reject the ML anymore... I mean the relationship just seriously got weird after MC fulfilled Qin Zhou's dreams. Even before that, the explanation of why the ML treated the MC like that before wasn't satisfactory and other stuff that got on my nerves... and the MC isn't even really bothered but just goes with the flow

the "white moonlight" really wasn't one. The reason why the MC and "white moonlight" dressed alike was explained. Although I'm still confused as to why the ML would sometimes have the MC wear glasses when he doesn't need them and the "white moonlight" needed them. I can accept the other excuses about the clothes, their bed activities, etc. but I just don't get the glasses.

the MC thought the ML had a new boyfriend and the MC just did not care at all.

If ML really loved, was going to propose to him why did he mock him 24/7 with his friends and calling MC a plaything? Why did he tell him that they are nothing but s*x partners? Why did he said nothing when everyone was bullying and making fun of MC for 5 years ? ML not kissing, refusing to look at MCs face during the S.., always doing it from behind, not caring if he is hurt afterwards... and he suddenly says all this is because ML cared for MC so much... like WTF? Author tried to explain but it made no sense all. He bought the exact same clothes and even glasses for what? It's his favorite brand? Then why does the white moonlight wear 100% the same thing?

The MC confuses me sometimes. I was left wondering what's his purpose for pretending to be someone else towards ML and ML's cousin. He kept going back and forth between pretending and also not pretending. He's quite indecisive and unnecessarily sensitive too.

As for the ML, he's just a straight scum. He deserves for what's coming. Applaud to MC for not caving in. ML *only* realised his feelings *after* MC's death...

I feel bad for ML but then I remembered that he was negligent towards MC's feelings and also he's still friends with those bozos who talked sh*t about MC 🙄

ML's friends are scums to MC. ML is very aware of this. He's still in contact with them even after wanting to pursue MC. Negative points for ML.
