This undoubtedly became one of my favorite quick transmigration story.

Most of the arc's story weren't actually something new and maybe you could read it in another story but I still love ML's personality in each arc. And MC, although at first came only for a mission, couldn't help but to fall for ML in the end. You could see her different mentality from purely acting to silent indulgence as the world she visited increasing.

love, love, love this novel. It was so unexpectedly sweet and funny. It gave a varied range of short stories to enjoy. The side characters were also really funny and enjoyable. It always feels like such a pity that the stories are not longer. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the beginning stories gave an idea of the course of how the rest of their lives went but as they went on it was left unsaid. I want to know more details!

I enjoyed reading this novel. Not too much drama and a bunch of fluff instead. I especially love how strong Jiang Rui (FL) is so I really enjoyed most parts of her mission in the mortal world. It was also really fun to witness how cold ML is every start of another arc but would just melt and would cling to FL at some point. One thing that I did notice though is that for every ending of an arc, the story tends to pace more faster so the endings kinda feels abrupt to me. Surprisingly, after all my fails I have found this beautifully written QT novel with romance as the main plot and high IQ main character with her ML being cute all the time. This story is definitely worth reading and it'll be one of my favourites from now on.

I really like it. The story is so sweet.

MC with a personality that I like and ML who does cute and sweet things to win MC's heart. In fact, this is not a story of the MC trying hard to win the ML's heart, but it seems the opposite because the MC gives the impression of being cold and indifferent.

However, MC actually cares a lot, but doesn't show it. She appreciates ML's concern for her and reciprocates in the same way and sincerely.

Even its very simple almost no dog blood dramas or villains, the story and theirs arcs really nice to read, I was afraid it will become boring or bland, even with the no below the neck scene, there plenty of sweet moments. The stories actually gets better and better each arc. There’s plenty good side characters, And alot of good mom in laws, even funny and very supportive ones. The pace of the first arc is smooth, It doesn't have too much action but it was not boring at all.

As others arcs appear, the story became more and more interesting, with more and more twist and turn.

The love story is fast but not too much and the reader can enjoy it plenty.

It's a pity that there was not enough face slapping for the revenge of the original body but the stories were sweet and smooth, I've really enjoyed reading it.

QT centred on one main CP, without too much drama, unnecessary or over the top shenanigans. Fluffy, sweet, arcs are a good length and paced well. I liked how everything culminated in the end, but the turning into little dragon aspect was weird.

The story only focuses on the romance between MC and ML. There are barely any vicious villains or schemes, and they usually fade to the background. Each arcs consists around 20 chapters, which is a bit long actually.

MC is level headed and quite chill. I don't think she has any special feeling for the ML (yet). It's said she's Mary Sue but it doesn't describe her being overly powerful or smart, just sharp-witted.

ML, on the other hand, doesn't have many memorable traits till here. He's cold and nice to MC,... more>> that's all. Arc 3 is quite emotional and he did show his vulnerable sides and I like that.

This story is full of sweet and dog food. No plot twist or complicated problems. The author basically only write sweet way to fall in love. Our MC is quite a tsudere who spoil our ML (though ML is much stronger and has much higher position). All the side characters are cute. Even the one who is not great, you just can’t really hate them.

I'm so happy that I got to finished this super sweet story. Honestly, I did not expect it to be so good that I binged the MTL version to complete it.

I dont agree when someone commend say the FL doesn't have any feeling, she actually does staring to like the ML since arc 1, she think the ML cute, then she started to feel tired whenever the wold end (i assume its emotionally), then denying her feelings, after that admitting her feelings, finally feeling peace. I know she said about treating this whole thing like a game, I don't think she treat it like so, its more like denying and trying to convince herself. She actually love the ML in her own way.

If you're looking for a drama-free romance that involves quick transmigration, then this is for you. The story is interesting because in every world, the ML has a different personality. This can be fun as the FL then has to adapt to the situation in that world and make the ML inseparable from herself. Why is she doing so:

It's a 1v1 story. ML's soul is fragmented and she's going into the worlds to find the pieces of his soul. This is mentioned very early on, so it's not really a spoiler. The FL also mentions that she does not need to be the ML's lover. She's sticking close to him in order to heal him. She just finds being a lover the easiest path to take to be by his side since parents/friends cannot be with a person entirely from the start to the end of their lives like a lover can. But, like many reviewers mentioned, it can be a bit hard to get into the story worlds because of how detached the FL is. This is an example from the novel:

That's why it feels as if the FL does not develop feelings at all for the ML. But! When she's in the worlds, she does her "job" wholeheartedly. Do take note that in arc 5 iirc, she realizes that she has fallen for the ML!

FL then realizes that and she tries to distance herself from the ML but she fails. Then she tells herself that it's fine to enjoy it while it lasts but she'll keep her distance when she goes back to her world.

I also find that she actually has a personality of her own despite pretending to be someone else. When she takes over a character, she has to follow their personality. I did read it to the end and realize that her personality is always similar to the people she takes over: cold, ice queen exterior with a hint of warmth, and in private, mischievous and sharp-tongued. MAJOR CONS:

Unfortunately, after the bad boy student arc, all of them end abruptly. I HATE THAT. In the bad boy arc, Shu Manman's mum finding a new love was mentioned but was not expanded on. The arc ended very abruptly with no mention of their future. In the previous arcs, at least its mentioned that they died together happily, or the world went on bla bla.

After the bad boy arc, every other arc that ends would be sudden and I'll be left reeling. In fact, when FL goes back to her oriWorld and ML awakens from his coma, IT WAS ALSO ABRUPT. Like dude, can't you write that, "Finally in the last world she transmigrated to, she has collected enough shards of the ML's soul." Etc etc. NOPE, it suddenly went to the FL sitting in her new home watering her plants. UGH. ML's ori form falling for FL is a cute story but I wished the entire novel was better written.

Don't get me wrong, I love a fluffy, romantic Cnovel but I didn't quite feel captured as a reader throughout most of the worlds.

ROMANTIC ARCS, BUT DULL

The general vibes from the first arc were sweet, soft, and minimal drama.

I usually love myself a 1980's world with a soldier husband but dang if Hotshot 1 didn't make me fall asleep. It's cute, but rote. I felt like I was reading a story of someone going through the actions instead of getting actively involved.

As for the other arcs, my favorite was probably Big Shot 4 where the ML is a treasonous eunuch and the FL is an Empress Dowager - the tension was fireee. Also most of the arcs were modern era which probably contributed to my boredom, as I'm the type to like to skip through time periods and spaces in QT novels. I ended up skimming arc 7 and fully skipping 8 because modern era worlds just end up mixing together in my head.

The overall theme is pale beautiful FL feeding spiritual energy to ML whose soul is broken into different shards in different worlds, you get the gist. Each world is supposed to be a part of his soul (and personality). The writing is straightforward and blunt. No angst or drama, which is nice, but also makes it hard to keep my attention.

The last arc is the real world and actually gives a very satisfying conclusion and explanation to the world-hopping and the main leads' relationship. I actually really enjoyed this wrap-up arc and the ending was super sweet as well.

The FL was a grass seed that the ML picked up during a drunk binge who ended up becoming a grass spirit immortal, lol. When the ML got injured fighting demons she used her spiritual power to pick up his fragments and heal him - at the expense of her own energy. After he wakes up and heals, she doesn't think he remembers all their lifetimes together but lo and behold, a dragon pretending to be a grass spirit shows up at her home. I love that we got to see different personalities of the ML featured in the final arc and him chasing after her this time after so many worlds of her finding him. Truly a full-circle moment!

THE POWER OF QUICK TRANSMIGRATION...

In my opinion, wasn't fully utilized in this story. I love the world-hopping element of QT stories because you can explore different environments, backgrounds, and character settings with the same main characters. And although I enjoy a light, fluffy novel, I honestly feel like the superficial exploration of each world exacerbated my boredom and disinterest in the actual couple. Maybe I'm just out for dogblood drama lmao because each arc was giving... nothing. The side characters meshed together, there really was no huge conflict (and if there was, the stakes felt low), and even the "falling in love" part of each story was boring. There wasn't really that "OOMPH" that made the main characters shine. And while slice-of-life, pure fluff readers may have a ball with this novel, I personally need at least a little bit of conflict (emotionally, physically, mentally, whatever!) to keep the plot rolling.

Honestly, looking back - maybe it was the writing for me? Something just didn't click.

OVERALL

Recommended for a sweet, lackadaisical QT romance with a happy ending.

Look elsewhere if you want a solid plot to keep you engaged. My own reading experience was picking this novel up after a bit, reading an arc or two and getting bored, and putting it down again + rinse and repeat. <<less
