Animation Producer in a Fantasy World

Description

I lived as an unremarkable animation producer in Korea until I died.

So, I made a wish just before dying.

“Please make Japanese and American anime ordinary.”

“Understood.”

The wish was granted.

By reincarnating into another world where Japanese and American anime not only became ordinary but completely disappeared.

No, seriously, this is going too far. Really.

Personally, I found the novel kinda mediocre. It reminded me a lot of "Surviving as a Plagiarist in Another World" and "Drawing Manga in a Romance Fantasy, " which have already played with the same trope. The only twist here is that the MC uses Animation, but even that doesn't add much innovation. Coming from someone who's into clichés, I was hoping for a bit more creativity, yet the story just feels like a rehash of familiar ideas.

The plot pretty much follows a predictable pattern: first, there's the notion that... more>> "people will probably not like it"; then, a random girl ends up liking it; next, the MC creates [product] and everyone loves it; and finally, the MC becomes popular, with people worshiping their works. With the exception of "Surviving as a Plagiarist in Another World, " which offers a more grounded and realistic approach, this novel sticks too closely to its old formula. If you're into these kinds of stories, it might be a decent read, but don't expect anything groundbreaking. <<less

Love how the MC actually adapts his works accordingly to the fantasy world he’s in and adapts the stories thanks to events caused by people around him. It feels like the side characters and extras actually help move the story and change the MCs decisions.

honestly the fact that MC keep repeatedly sabotage his Anime & Fail Upward already become so cliche, predictable and author's ultimate way to padding the word count.

like seriously the MC should just stop doing it after he keep making his 5th anime but nope, he just keep sabotaging and fail upward to the point I even question whether the Author is that ret*rd in real life.

yeah the anime should be Tom & Jerry, Digimon, Yugi-Oh, Gurenn Lagann, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Jojo Adventure, with author's own twist so it make the... more>> story less boring than it should though. <<less
