So far, so good. There is not much information about what's going on. You can see some plot armor here and there. The system is really like a game. The monsters are spawn with a puff and they respawn soon after death. Hot weapons are effective, just no exp for them. I like the personality of MC, timid and soft sometimes, aggressive sometimes. Not totally selfish or totally righteous, blended in perfect ratio.

MC's not s*upid and his way of doing things is down to earth.

I appreciate the way he manages his relationships too, he isn't a pe*vert, nor a psycho or greedy. He does care for his family but isn't obsessed about it either.

The story itself works fine, in terms of progression. At least for now it's enjoyable and I see no holes, there"s some mysteries but I guess we will know more later.

Its really hard to find apocalypse novels where the parents of MC are still alive and I really like the concept of waypoints and dungeon like rpg games. Most apocalyptic novels ive read, either the MC travelled by foot or they use a certain transportation. Teleporting from one town to another is better. In this novel, people can go to dungeons or find a hunting area where mobs can spawn.

The safe zones are very good like most games there are areas where your drops can be exchanged with the NPCs... more>> living in that area, coins are use for purchasing goods and payment for using waypoints that has been saved. <<less

The concept is fun, but things are going just a bit too swimmingly for the MC. He was talented to start out with and did have a stroke of luck right at the start, but afterward it gets a bit difficult to believe that he's so far ahead of the rest of the world. Because everything goes so well for him, the novel has sort of a farming/crafting/slice of life feel rather than apocalyptic survival, which was maybe not what I was expecting.
