Honestly, don't bother with this one, it is tr*sh. Not the good type mind you, but the "wtf am I reading?" type. The author has obviously no talent with writing, the way he writes is like a 12 year old writing his first story. If this is his first novel then I think his future will not be very bright unless he does a writing course or something.

Now lets talk about the MC, the supposed Fang Yuan and Gu Changge hybrid, he neither has FY's depth and character development nor... more>> GC's presence. He is the architype for this new wave of villan novels that uses shock and unjustified evil sh*t to shock you so you say "oh, he is actually evil." (I hate this new trend btw, like if you want to write a villan MC then make it good). There isn't even any background to the MC, he is just said to be a and I quote; "a ruthless and cruel top assassin from Blue Star." Author, based of this sentence you screwed up quickly, I don't need YOU to tell me what your MC's personality is, you need to show me. This isn't a movie script I'm reading, but a goddamn novel.

Let's not talk about the cheating and NTR in this b*tch, like I only read 5 chapters and saw NTR, disgusting. This is one of the worst trends in the webnovel community the past years, that villain MC's has to do an NTR because they are evil. Right? Respectfully, f*ck off, Fang Yuan is the greatest evil MC and not once has he done NTR, why you may ask? Because what's the point of it? You are writing a cultivation or an apocalypse story, if you can include it as a plot point that moves the story forward then do it, but if its just there because of your fetish then don't f*cking do it! Its just cheap.

This is not for light-hearted readers this novel's MC is cruel but to people close to him he's not but even then the MC is quite mad. It's a villain through and through. It's like I am the Fated Villain's and Revered Insanity's MC combined if any of you have read those two novels.

For instance, MC on this novel can wipe out or kill millions of innocent people or destroy a city to achieve his goal and reduce them as s*aves. So if such MC isn't to your liking then... more>> you probably should not read this novel. <<less

*sigh* I'm pretty disappointed with this novel. If it at least developed more in the romance or smut section due to all the unnecessary yet completely unexplored romantic drops the MC kept getting I would've been able to like the novel a bit, but with a literal 38 chapters in, I never even once thought this novel was good.

The story is a wish fulfillment story with an apocalypse setting. The MC is perfect, the MC is handsome, the MC is rich, everyone serves the mc's family, the MC is all... more>> powerful, the MC is all knowing, all females bow down to the MC, all powerful men bow down to the MC, all antagonists get unsatisfactorly deleted, any possible plot struggle serves away from the mc

The novel was so dull, and had no sense of actual progression, that after a certain point, I just kept reading to see how the unemotional deadpan romance would develop, but it's just a literal accessory. Nothing ever happened, no romance, no smut, no nothing.

The primary purpose of this novel, a Villain MC, was the most disappointing of all. You can't name the MC a Villain. Everything's just served on a silver platter with heavy plot armor/ forceful setups; all with 0 development and emotions. Everything he's doing just seems so unreal and forced into the story that it's fake. Even with him technically killing a million citizens by abandoning them and enslaving a whole city for a workforce, nothing made him look like an actual Villain that you'd see from Villain stories. One of the most unsatisfactory reads ever.

At this point it has to be the translators rather than the story right??? <<less

I enjoy the OP protag and the villain protag novels, but this one... isn't all that good. The MC has absolutely no points that any normal person can relate to, and he also isn't really someone anybody would root for. In the beginning I was slightly rooting for him because he seemed a bit interesting and seemed like he could give me thrilling moments, but in less than 40 chapters he turned out to be way too boring. His background is perfect, his face is perfect, his poise is perfect,... more>> his talent is perfect, his evil is perfect and there just isn't anything interesting there. This novel is basically just a recounting of how perfectly ruthless and unfeeling he is and it isn't even done in a way that captures your attention. It's boring, even with all the evil. I'm giving it two stars because the writing isn't all that bad in other aspects. <<less
