Overall, not too bad but could be better portrayed if it's more longer since the ending was wrapped with pretty loose ends. I would love to see Yan Ze, our MC who was played around like a fool by the other characters, seek his own form of revenge for himself. Honestly this had potential for a wife-chasing crematorium type of novel with a weak-to-strong protagonist developing in his character. But oh well, it's a short story so we get what we have.

Likewise with most novels, turn off your brain cells... more>> that reign over your logical thinking and don't look too much into the details. Just enjoy the writing and see how you feel about it.

FYI: I was the one who added in the Tragedy tag because this doesn't seem to deserve the Romance tag at all but there was a love triangle so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. It's more like an Open & Bad Ending combined, lol. <<less

For a short story, it's a very good one. I would have liked it to have more chapters or extras where MC achieves her revenge, I feel that MC set her revenge as her goal and then the romance will come, Since until the end MC continues to make revenge plans for those people who took away what kept him alive, well I guess he has little interest in romance, His relationship with ML was born in painful circumstances.... more>>

True to its title, it was actually bad. Not bad for its plot but for its ending. It was a cliff hanger. I also find the ML pitiful, looks like the MC really didn't love him but was instead using him. They're together for 10 years but he's only thinking about getting revenge. Poor ML tho, he's feelings with the MC is pure.
