Thoughts: Torn between 4.5 and 5, but decided on 4.5 since there were some storylines and aspects that I just wish got more focus.

That aside, I really loved this one! The MC isn’t all-knowing, he does have an advantage with his modern knowledge, but they’re mostly not applicable to the timeline.

He’s not good with cooking either, but manages to do business in that field because the ML, Ji Yan, is talented in that field, and with MC’s ideas and ML’s application, they make it work.

I also like how the retribution of the antagonists weren’t out of scale, and that characters can have flaws but manage to turn over a new leaf.

Rather sweet and relaxing. Translation is also high quality so will read again after it finishes! <<less

It's fun and interesting at first but in the end it becomes boring. Typical story of transmigration to ancient times and then becoming rich with modern knowledge. I'm tired of reading it and even feel that ending this reading is a waste of time.

So far pretty great and lovely.

Our CP develop their relationship is sweet and lovely way. Not rushed nor slow. I love how even with the overthinking, our ML Shou was the one who confront MC about their relationship.

Also love how rare to see MC Gong Transmigrated to Ancient Time who can't cook, and in the end depend on his wife to be the one who cook all the food.

I wonder how MC would become a Big Landlord. Because so far, while their business was quite thriving, they don't do big BIG business either.

This was an adorable read. 4/5 stars. Nothing too serious, very slice of life, quick, and it really hit everything that I enjoy in these types of novels. The slow burn between the ML and MC was very well done and while there was some drama it was resolved rather quickly. And the timing! That's something that I've found frustrating about this genre of novels, everything happens so quickly but this one seemed to have a semi-realistic timeline for the different events that happened.

It's a good book. Lovely slice of life book. Not sure why the rating is less than 4. It was a good read to pass time. Loved the boon and tha characters. Liked the way it was written. Everyone should give it a try.

An overall happy and drama free novel!

Only downside is all the loose ends of the side characters and the abrupt ending that didn't even feel like an ending.

But other than all that, I enjoyed this novel! ☺️
