So far, a relatively well-written rendition of a cyberpunk world with a game background, contrasting the lofty position of the corporation heir to the typical game protagonist starting at the bottom. The prior incompetence of that conglomerate family member and the need to keep up appearances rather than acting out a sudden change of heart like many other possession type novels add an additional layer to this.

The world is depicted in sufficient detail to follow the story and imagine the surroundings, but exposition is avoided for the most part, and... more>> even the MC's plans and interactions with game elements and characters are mostly explained afterwards rather than beforehand. This avoids situations that cause repetition of events unfolding exactly as they were already described to be planned, but occasionally requires additional attention because not all relevant elements have been introduced to the reader before the interactions.

Up to this point, there hasn't been much potential for emotional development and even characters who might have more frequent appearances in the future haven't gotten much depth yet, but it's still early, so it's hard to say whether this will be a permanent trend or if it's just because the characters are only now being introduced, with emotional connections growing and thawing more gradually.

Overall it has been an enjoyable read with no major flaws yet. <<less
