First of all, I will admit I am a bit biased toward male yandere. The reason of low rating is because he is yandere. They don't like yandere but I do. So if you do love yandere as much as I did, you don't have to read this anymore and just FREAKING READ THE NOVEL RIGHT NOW!!!

Let's start the review.

The plot is just so-so. Nothing unique, nothing surprising. (2.50/5.00)

The personality of female lead is a bit not really too my liking. She's totally a sheep. Too shy. Too afraid.... more>> Too behaving. She don't retort at all. She even let her boss to take an advantage from her. (2.00/5.00)

The personality of male lead... this is what I'm waiting for! He's possessive. Too possessive. He doesn't reason to reason his action. He just do whatever to get her. And once he get her, he will never let go. He doesn't like to share nor he likes to be shared, so he is very faithful. He will be obedient. Just like other review said, he would eat bricks if he was told to so by her. His reason for liking her at first was something insignificant, like her voice. Then, he would start to begin to fall for her more and more and more until everything about her was his. BUT! That is what yandere are. (10.00/5.00)

However, their personality is perfect for each other so... you know. They are cute, they are sweet. Oh! Make sure to have insulin besides you in case you got a diabetes after reading it.

Conclusion, read it if you like yandere or interested to know what is yandere (welcome to our fandom) and don't read it if you don't like SUPER SUPER possessive male lead because yandere's possessive is always extraordinary for a normal taste. <<less

The male lead is very possessive. (pe*vert) Very obsessed. (kind of a pe*vert) Very. He loves the heroine to death! If one day she orders him to eat bricks, he'll simply asks: "How many?" If she says that she hates someone, he'll simply follows, "How should I kill them?" I'M SERIOUS. NO KIDDING. I SWEAR. On the other hand, Yue Yi is a frigtening demon to everyone. From Children to Adults. From fan girls to famous actresses. Who cares? The one and only person that can move him is the... more>> heroine.. Getting jealous whenever anyone (male or female, even his own son) comes close to his treasure. Thankfully, the female lead is not that type of a bit*h who take advantage of others. Unfortunately for that matter, few people are taking advantage of her. She is the only one Yue Yi, a professional song composer, listens to after all.

The person in question, our adorable heroine is well, adorable. Kind. Attractive but clumsy singing voice. Shy. Not much of a beauty (but of course to Yue's eyes she is..) Easily scared especially when it comes to the male lead. Still, Ling tries her damnest to support her boss from daily life to work and finally falling for him.. Really innocent but also fights for what she think is right. I'm pretty amaze she can keep up with someone who's so possessive of her.. Ah. I suddenly remembered Nana and Ren... *cries a river* TT TT

I love male yanderes!!

But only in novels, where I can be safe and sound, lol.

I like this short story.. Not much plot, but full of suffering for the yandere. Love his anguish. It just woke up the S in me. Hahaha.

Unfortunately, the translation was really.. Awful. Sorry translator..

I didn't read the translation because I felt that the mtl was better. I don't mean to judge the translator. It was just too painful to read. Since my brain cells would suffer, I rather read the mtl, at least it has the original flavor that was lost in the 'translation'. <<less

They both frustrating as hell.

Dis gurl be s*upid, wimpy, carries on misunderstandings by herself all 'There's no way he likes me despite his crazy possessive attitude, French kissing must be etiquette for foreigners' wut.

Dis boi be thinking he's god or something, all 'You have to be mine because I said so' no further explanation or choice needed, falls in love for little to no reason, forceful, unreasonably possessive and entitled.

It's too short for any deep characterisation or plot to develop. You can skim read for the lols I guess.

To be honest, this is one of my favorite romance novels. The love the male lead has for the female lead is really deep and he is possessive and overbearing but it’s really sweet.

The female lead is talented, but isn’t aware of her talent. I normally don’t like ditzy characters but her innocent character really suited the male lead...

Overall, the story was really good! This novel can be counted as one of the addicting novels to read... I want more from author Qian Cao, but I can’t seem to... more>> find any more of her novels, aside from The General Wants To Hug and Sleep! T_T <<less

He inherited "love sickness" from his father. Once he fell in love with someone, he will drown in obsession and do whatever it takes to make that someone completely his. He also could be extremely possessive and only allow that someone to only look and think about him.

MC was extremely timid girl so I couldn't get it as to why she could fall in love with MC with that kind of personality. I don't mind having an innocent MC but if she's too dumb, it's kind of annoying.

At one time, ML l**ked her face but she "innocently" thought that it was a common thing in a foreigner. After that, ML blatantly kissed her lips and she still thought it as a common thing. With these kind of thinking, I'm really surprised that she could make it into an adulthood and keep her innocence along the way.

This is only for those who is ok with yandere MLs. I don’t mind it but if there is even a bit of ab*se in a book I stop reading. Thankfully it’s not the case in this one. The ML is straight up psycho in this book. He is obsessed with the FL’s voice and soon with the FL herself.

The female rival in the book also backs off when she takes off her rise tinted glasses and sees for herself how scary the ML is, so that’s good too.

However unlike... more>> Wattpad yandere stories this one has a happy (?) ending. <<less

Although translation is bad, I'm still very grateful that it still got translated. I really loved how ML always felt aggrieved whenever MC pushes him away.

The story was alright, and although the translation was slightly hard for me to understand, but it was manageable. I do have to warn any possible readers though, this might not be your cup of tea if you dislike overly possessive male lead (or yandere lead) and a super meek female lead.

Absolutely loved it! If you don't like obsessed male lead, then it's not for you. But if you like a male lead that is crazy in love and would do really anything for her, then you got to read this. It's a strong Yandere love, and I'm sure you'll like it if you like that type of love. My favorite chapter is the epilogue, so cute and funny?

It’s been a long time since I read the last chapter of this story. The quality of translation couldn’t attract me to re-read it (you might be able to tell from the awkward title), but it was understandable enough that some points managed to stick in my head. Those were the male lead’s possessiveness and the female MC’s stubbornness, as well as the interaction between them. For that alone, I could grant the story a five star for characterization and hooks. However, I also remember that this story’s got a... more>> few unfilled plot holes and weak narrative. In my opinion, asking for smooth narrative from xianxia/xuanhuan might be over-demanding as they were not exactly sought after for their literary quality. However, romance novels are another matter; smooth narrative and descriptive depiction of emotions and settings should present in good quality. Sadly, this novel was below par at that. <<less

Possessive male leads are the norm in most romances, but the male lead in this is a cut above. At the start he was only interested in her voice but still wanted to monopolize her, and even when he laters somehow develops feelings, he still comes off as creepy, psychotic and in desperate need of a therapist. The author attempts to shove the blame on his past and genes and allow the reader to be more accepting/sympathetic. Besides being meek and petrified of the male lead, the female lead really... more>> has no presence - her most distinguishing feature is being passive enough to accept this sort of lover. Even when they enter into a relationship it feels more like she's resigning herself since she can't escape and the consequences of trying to would be too scary.

Overall I found this to be a rather uncomfortable read, with even the male lead's "sweet" side offputting, given how two-faced he appears. But if you like the type of story where the girl is suffocated by a possessive guy who is interested in her, and may or may not actually like her, go for it. <<less

The book is ordinary for me, just your usual love story.

The importing point though, it is an obsessive love story. It starts with your usual hot, rich, popular but unfeeling to the world MC; and pure, naive, dense but have good voice FC. As soon as they interact, the trace of obsessiveness are there, even violence. The MC got worse from there with his obsession while the FC remain oblivious. Nearing the end the MC did not change his way, instead FC is the one accepting his unusual way of... more>> loving (it seems MC did tolerate a little of FC social life by letting FC stays in contact with her roommates, but that is as far as he is willing to).

This is a story of a love starved music producer, composer actor. He falls in love with the voice of a woman She too is lonely and responds to his attentions, although they are a bit overwhelming. The female lead is a quite naive and awkward. She is easily manipulated by others through out the story even by children. Read and get a view of the male lead's struggle to attain his love and control his madness. This is a very touching story
