As the goddess Faltear’s country was destroyed, she received the title of evil god and was doomed to wander the world. Originally she bestowed miracles to protect the country but the the country’s faith in her diminished and conversely decreased her powers.

A statue of that goddess Faltear was picked up by a cat-eared beastman and soon became the guardian deity of a desolated beastman village. As a result, with her powers restored, Faltear decided to protect the cat-eared beastmen.

Before long, the village grew to engulf both dog and cat eared beastmen and developed into a splendid nation. The guardian deity who protects the beastman kingdom!

The characters feel very flat.

It suffers from a case of 'telling' and not showing and it has no interactions between different groups of faceless mobs that have been given different labels.

It also has a redundant weird unit of measurement the MC mentions once and goes "it also means 150ft". It doesn't seem to reconcile how a person would act with the powers, limitations and advantages a 'guardian deity/goddess' would have an it's faith system seems to be a skewed. Although it does give lots of exposition, it only seems to... more>> be giving surface level reasoning for the how's and why's.

The Yuri feels a bit forced, perhaps because the characterisation is awful. We are told the characters personality and it just falls flat.

The Kingdom building part just rushes past and It feels like this should be a draft, with the more bulk details added to give it more depth when it's published.

It's an interesting concept which can be pulled off, but I think "Being Recognised as an Evil God, I Changed my Job to Guardian Deity of Beastmen Country" (wow thats a mouthful) does not pull it off well at all.

The Evil God part means nothing. She's described as a god from a different country, but from lack of faith and individualism it got destroyed by another country and their god and they painted her as an 'evil one'. From what I've read so far, it gives the impression that this has happened many hundreds of years ago. Also sometimes every other paragraph is a timeskip.

I remember reading this all the way back with the original TL. For a while, there were only 13 chapters. I am very glad this was updated. I do question the rules the Gods/Goddesses follow. I also dislike that the MC, despite her vaster array of experience and knowledge of other gods, is for some reason power-wise, confined to her believer's faith, there's never any use of her past experiences.

I'm glad the story is being continued. And besides a kind of eh sentence structure, then there isn't much else to... more>> complain about. <<less

Very pleasant, I'd like to read more about what happens and hope it gets more translations soon!

The whole "evil god" thing isn't exactly as it sounds, by no means are they an evil god but were labeled that for not being able to help the people in a time of need.

Good read for relaxing plot growth.

Unique setting as the MC is goddess, the summary itself sound interesting and I really do feel possibility in it. Since there are only 3 chapter now, I will re-review thia when the chapter increase. Do hope the story turn into something interesting.

Well, it's finished now if anyone cares (not like it actually ended anyway).

OverlyFriendly really hit the nail on this one with his review even though he only read 9 chapters. If all you need in life is furry, bad yuri and no pay-offs, maybe you'll enjoy this one. Feels like it's just a first draft of the first part of a much longer story. In fact, it's so bare-bone it can barely even be called a draft as some parts are just lists of things happening.

Most situations in this novel... more>> goes like this (if they are elaborated on AT ALL that is) :

"There's a problem." "Oh no, problem!" "solve problem?" "yeah, we should solve problem" "problem solved with magic" "Yay! Now let's just mention we're married in some way so that people knows there's yuri/romance in this novel" "Yes, husband" "YAY!"

Really wish there was any kind of rhyme or reason to which series are rated highly on this site. Rarely do I give any novel 1/5 but this one just absolutely deserves it. <<less

Enjoying the story, I like that it goes into the nation building aspect and its interesting to see how the different gods/religions interact with each other so far.

Well, it may not be done yet. But it's a great story as of right now. Although conflict is far and few in-between, I feel like it shows what an actual growing nation represents. A growing nation would not be attacked at such an early stage. The neighbouring countries are also non-militaristic, focusing more on trade! This is quite beneficial for both parties. It also shows the importance of religion has on a community. Although gods do not exist or appear as they do in the story, many religions have... more>> had a profound impact on their people. A single influential religion can spell the death of millions, or the prosperity for millions. However I just want to indulge on that topic. If you read this story, you'll find these small little details about the characters. Although it could be grasping at strings. <<less

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I have not seen many stories with this setting, so I'm looking forward to see which direction it will take. I'll write my thoughts in the future when more chapters are released. The story seems interesting enough at first glance, so I'll award it 5 stars and deduct in the future if it does not match my expectations :D
