Xu Sheng of Class Seven never wore school uniforms. He was the wildest person in Lin Jiang Sixth High School’s history of tyrants. He scored an average of 30 points in each subject and had so many disciplinary notices that they were meaningless. Every few days, he would be subjected to present a disciplinary review in front of the entire school.

The sun blazed in the sky and the youth’s voice was loud for everyone to hear. “Sorry, I still dare next time.”

And the so-called Exam God, number one in the grade, Shao Zhan, was cold and unapproachable.

Their paths would never have crossed if they didn’t switch bodies due to an accident.

EVERYTHING about this novel is so so so so cute. Looking back on my own high school days, I realize my own life wasn't very dramatic, nor did anything extreme happen. But I still grew so much as a person and developed my own sense of self. Although this novel is fantasy, there are no monsters to fight except for the monsters you find within yourself. Maybe the traumas the main characters hold aren't connected to apocalyptic events that make things dramatic and exciting, but the bittersweetness of growing up... more>> and helping each other become better people and achieve dreams leaves a heartwarming impression that'll last forever.

Also, I've never been so excited over simple hand holding ahhhhh <<less

This one is considered on of the best romcom, especially for highschool-themed story!! In my opinion, it's not just BL here, you can actually taste and feel the youthful s*upidity of highschool boys, plus being absorbed in their inner conflict too, like thinking about their future, and being confusedly in love... But really, except for the serious part, I can't stop laughing reading this novel.

I read the Chinese version, and I have to say that, if we were to read the story thoroughly, noticing even the slightest gesture and touch,... more>> the change of Shao zhan (ML) attitudes towards Xu sheng (MC) is really natural, it's little by little like that.

Also, all the characters are lovably hilarious! Especially the teachers and friends, who combined with the MC & ML's situation, become even more priceless. They can be such a dork too haha.

It's funny to see a school rebel (Xu sheng) getting bullied by a study god (Shao zhan) in the beginning ahaha! Even more, I love how Xu sheng can spout bullsh*t as naturally as breathing the air, and Shao zhan later learned how to do it for the need of 'survival' while their body switched.

Seriously, Xu sheng, you have my respect (lol).

The most heartwarming moment for me is that, the said 'study god', who was just as cold as an iceberg and only cared for tests and study began to feel that he's the happiest and most entertained beside xu sheng. Even though Xu sheng is a school rebel who can't answer even a question of a monthly test, let alone the olympiad's questions, Shao zhan actually still want to see Xu sheng enter the olympiad since he felt that if it was Xu sheng, nothing's too bad to possibly happen to anyone, rather, it would be amusing to watch him and hear Xu sheng's whining; let me drop out of school!! At this point, Shao zhan felt that even something impossible will become possible when he's around Xu sheng. Which is basically true, since you can sense from the story that Xu sheng is a unique individual himself, you won't meet someone with a nature like his in any other novels. He always brings positivity to those around him through his antics.

And the part which touched my heart was when they supported each other. Xu sheng is actually a genius in his own 'field of interest' (not spoiling *wink*), but with his closest person not supporting him before, he just became an empty shell, giving up his dream. But thankfully, Shao zhan will save him right? <<less

I think it's good, I like it. The same author from "Fake Slacker". It's comedic so don't be so serious. The MC ability to talk nonsense... It's a topnotch, I give it a 5 star lol.

I'm sorry it's my first time give a review and it's my subjective opinion. (and I'm sorry if my english is bad)

Oh Zhao ge and Yu ge became a cameo in the late chapter

At first I thought this was the same as all other highschool BLs... but it's not. Certain elements are emphasized here. Many things aren't overdramatisized as they usually are, no second marriages or deaths. And the characters aren't just OP at studying which I appreciate. They have other talents that makes this slightly more realistic. Also I have to say, despite the initial frustration readers may have towards her... the mom is one of the best characters.

VERY CUTE! Really good plot and characters. Cold, serious, studious MC x wild, carefree ML who never pays attention in class. ML and MC 's back and forth in the beginning is super entertaining, and as they get to know more about each other it's heart squeezing fangirl worthy fluff + MC's ability to bullsh*t his way through anything is really amazing.

really good read even if school life/romance isn't usually your thing.

It's so good, it makes me miss them all the time, and the story isn't overly dramatic, it's close enough to real life, because it's easy to get lost in the casualness of this couple. But unfortunately when reading each chapter it feels like something is missing. The parts of the previous and following chapters are sometimes unrelated, I mean the action part of the previous chapter, is not continued in the next chapter so that makes something missing. This feels tug-of-war for the reader's feelings. But really this couple... more>> is very sweet and cute. Ooh another one that makes me frustrated. It lies in the writing of feelings, where the author wrote it to be very vague, I'm a bit difficult to guess since when ML-MC developed feelings, this feels a bit rushed, and not touching enough, but the truth is, if you are often together, it will inevitably grow feelings. Then there's the manhua, whether the novel or the manhua is the same. At first I read this novel because in the manhua the story was vague, and when I read the novel it was still vague. <<less

A bit cliche, but enjoyable nonetheless! The two main characters are both very likable, and while they don't have the most depth to them, they have great chemistry and rhythm with one another. The tone of this novel is very similar to Fake Slackers, in that there's less focus on character emotions and backstories and more on their interactions with one another in the present, and while the emotional impact of the story does suffer a little as a result, it's still highly entertaining and great comedic fluff.

I really liked... more>> the dynamic between the two main characters as well, as their personalities complement each other so well- the MC Xu Sheng is outwardly more carefree and sociable, while the ML Xie Heng is more studious and restrained, but when they're together, they reveal parts that they don't show around others, with MC becoming more shy and ML more forward. There's all the hallmarks of a good school romance between them too, with lots of kissing in questionably public spaces, sneaking around, spreading unintentional (intentional?) dogfood, studying together and "studying" together, and overall just being a sweet and mutually loving couple.

One minor thing to note is that the body swapping is a bit disorganized and random, and the author tends to leave out a lot of key moments and just refer to them as an afterthought (for example both of them apparently waking up with morning wood, or the discomfort of having to literally be in someone else's body). However, this really isn't that much an issue though, as it lends to the overall lighthearted tone by not ruminating on the more distressing parts of what a body swap might really entail. Personally one of my favorites of this author's works, but also in part because I read it at a time when I really just wanted something brainless and fluffy! <<less

Definitely gave similar vibes as Fake Slackers, which is one of my favorite BLs of all time. Unfortunately this one can't match up to that for me, but it was still very enjoyable.

My main gripe is... well... the whole premise of the story. The extenuating circumstances that would pop up every time they body swapped were actually so stressful and awkward. I was under so much pressure for their own sake, really. I was mentally dying every time the MC had to fake being a top student. This would definitely... more>> have been a task much easier for the two protagonists of Fake Slackers.

Things I enjoyed: that the MC was also OP but in art. I have to respect that, as someone who is crippled in creativity. The concept that the thunder comes from their mutual despair 1 year ago is also interesting and somewhat draws everything together. The romance is very natural and wholesome as well. Both of them realize their special affection for the other with minimal gay panic and almost immediately try to pursue the other person to varying effects. They are super sweet and affectionate after getting together too, and don't shy away from physical intimacy.

Overall very fun despite the embarrassing premise. Somewhat shallow in dealing with both of their past traumas but I don't mind much. Wish there were more extras about their life though, felt kinda abrupt. <<less

My favourite danmei so far, and I've read over 200 of them. Theres something about how the author captures youthfulness that really stands out to me, and one of my favourite parts is how Xu Sheng is potrayed. 10/10 would recommend

it's not my cup of tea. Their switching is too often without condition. It comes with sound of mysterious thunder sound and it goes when it wants. It repeat too much and I lost interest in character glow and story line.

It was good. The story is adorable overall and not dramatic. I must say it somewhat resembles my real life so I found it enjoyable to read. The pace was kinda slow tho, and I couldn’t recall why I didn’t like this as much as ‘Fake Slackers’. Maybe it was personal taste.

Yamada-kun and the seven witches.

The story has a start which is suspiciously similar to Yamada-kun and the seven witches😓

But Oh Well, copying in the internet is rampant and people would just say they got the inspiration from it.

Story is fine, still salty about the beginning.. But it has been a great use of the body swap trope.
