Gong Linglong endured for ten years to finally avenge her parents, reclaiming everything that belonged to her. Just as she was ready to enjoy life, her soul was mistakenly summoned to the underworld by a soul summoner! Damn it! They got the wrong soul? And she can’t go back? She was in the bad mood, she causes a scene in the Hades Palace, argues with the King of Hell, and eventually wins a chance to traverse worlds, seizing some compensation along the way.

Starting anew, the original host arranged a blind date to save her mother for a measly two hundred yuan dowry. Is she really going?

Oh snap, the blind date is handsome and tall, a promising young military officer who helps her in battles against scum. He deserves full marks! However, she soon realizes there’s been a mix-up: What? You’re not my blind date? Did I go to the wrong table?

Well, since it’s a mistake, this man meets her aesthetic standards. She ab*ses the s*um while he hands her the stick. She causes trouble and he cleans up the mess. She scolds and he supports her firmly. He handles the money while she makes a fortune. Such a man is rare in the world; surely the King of Hell sent him specially to make amends, and she must keep him!”

So it's slice of life with a revenge plot going on in the background. Fantasy elements with MC's golden fingers. Focus on family and romance.

Spoiler

Honestly, there are so many plot holes and continuity issues. For example, how is MC still doing her job but also still spying on people and helping ML out with missions? Is it just unstated and we're supposed to assume she's squeezing it all in (I think we are). Her golden fingers overlap too (both a farming space and a space ring?). I thought we'd get more of her doing good deeds but that also seems to be assumed. How is her mother able to enter the space without MC? Is it because it's a bloodline trait? And if she is able to, why does she need to come home to enter?? But the background seems to be that each person gets a different type of inheritance from the family inheritance. The background and mechanics of this just wasn't explained well. For the revenge, if MC can be invisible to poison the antagonists... why not poison all at once?? Why do it slowly??? It all really just doesn't make sense.

Also, I'm not sure if the fantasy elements of this story really added much. Usually it spices up the story a bit but I felt bored by it. For example, the children didn't really need to be transmigrated cultivators.

The romance is cute the brief moments it happens. It's basically love at first sight. I wish MC's previous life abilities had more say but so far, not much.

There are a lot of people interactions and MC giving face slaps and sending people to jail (or death) herself or by the people around her. Basically all antagonists have no good end. I'm not certain I agree with it all as the appropriate reaction but that's what happens here.

Other than the revenge, it's just focus on daily life. You can say it's a family ethics type drama. But unfortunately, the pacing in this novel is a bit off. And past lines are forgotten as the story progresses. For example, golden finger doesn't seem too important most of the time. Things that felt important are skipped quickly. For example, we don't really hear about the good deeds to cultivate the MC's inheritance other than a few times sporadically. Additionally, sometimes it felt like I was reading a quick vague summary of MC's life. It was hard to immerse myself into the story.

It was like the author was trying to have a comedic undertone to the story but it didn't quite hit right. All the different genres didn't quite mesh well. Like what was that ending?

Overall, not terrible but not particularly good either. It's okay to pass the time. 3.5/5 so rounded up. <<less
