Recommend to QT lover, Retaliate against bad guys

I do like this series a lot, it's weird because I read a lot of QT novel with ML MC before start reading this story and I get bored halfway that later arcs are always skimming. But with Xu Zifan, every arc is refreshing to me and I only skimming 1 arc just because I don't like FL character. Salute to the author for creating my male god Xu Zifan.

The story is about Xu Zifan, the gary stu who walk through life with... more>> difficulty but still success being top1% of the world and get the chance to be World emissary, travel through many planes doing charity for resentful soul.

Sometime when I feel like he's being ruthless in retaliate plan, I then think about what happen to the original soul and I'll feel like they deserve it. Some bad people aren't always bad but they just too obsessed to see orginal body fall down and died. So they really deserve it.

There's no permanent FL, sometimes there's no CP but it doesn't matter, it's about face slapping anyway ^_<

I just like how Zifan says each world is a new beginning cause when other people gone/reincarnate, they will all forget and begin their new journey anyway.

The plot of each arc is satisfying to me, make me adore Zifan more and more. It's a pity that the story end in 590 chapters but he already got dependable system, space and powerful pet to accompany his journey, it will all be good and fun, always. So let's farewell at that (QwQ)

I actually really like that it's not the same FL. Moreover, each time he's with a woman, he totally and utterly pampers her but the affection is returned and the woman herself is very capable and worthy of his efforts too.

Some male protag QT focused on pampering a woman always have the MC start off on a super powerful position and his entire life's purpose is the pamper the woman (who already likes him) while starting at the finish line. That's why I tend to dislike this premise. However, here,... more>> loving the woman is never his be all end all, which makes it much more interesting for me.

It's a pretty well written story. Giving it a 5stars because I feel the overall rating is a little low, although to be honest there's nothing super particularly special about this. <<less

Pretty good stories - no matter the starting point, ML always ends up as the Big Boss - his ways of cleaning up the mess and completing missions are OP. ML may/may not end up with someone in the story, and different arcs have different FLs... The stories are different from the usual QT ones, and including some never-before seen story arcs - not so sure about the current arc though...

I love this it was quite refreshing it’s also a good balance between dog blood and dog food

Sometimes I wished there were more chapters with romance n maybe even kisses 🤭 but overall it was very fulfilling

the thing I liked the most compared to other quick transmigration stories is that after every arc the ML takes a break in his space for several decades for his mental health n isn’t just constantly world hopping I liked that concept cuz in almost every arc he has a love interest builds a... more>> family n everything so obviously after the mission he has feelings and he recovers.

I also liked how it wasn’t the same FL or the same spirit every arc is different sometimes it’s the character he’s protecting sometimes he falls in love on his own n grows old with them it’s very cute.

it does get a little draggy if you’re binge reading but I quite like this <<less

If you like "Good Man Operation Guide", you will definitely like this novel since they are both similar.

Both novels are based on the MC going to different world, possessing the target to fulfill their regrets and right their wrongs. The difference is that "Good Man Operation Guide" regret is gear towards making their woman happy, whereas in this novel, it's gear towards making the original body owner happy. This often overlap with making their woman happy as well, since each world, he often finds a spouse.

I find this novel a... more>> bit better because the MC has some growth to him, as well as some dilemma.

If you want to binge each arc, they are usually about 35+ chapters each. <<less

TL:DR Mid

I can't help but compare this to a TV show or drama. Some episodes are decent. Some are pretty bad. And a few I truly enjoyed. That's how the arch's are in this story. Truly a mixed bag. It heavily leans on existing tropes and rarely does anything particularly new. Like most face slapping stories I've read the antagonist's motivations and intelligence is quite lacking. I'll give it some credit for trying to establish the MC's knowledge/skills/etc but at the end of the day these things are still developed... more>> via summaries or offscreen. In fact a lot of the later arch's just turn into big plot summaries as a whole. From a reader's perspective it does save the time by removing some redundant parts of the story. The author probably got sick of writing it too.. But it would have probably been better if they just ended the story earlier if they couldn't come up with new ideas?

One aspect I really didn't care for was -

Almost every life he ends up getting married and having kids, but they rarely reveal any details about his own family. Not how many kids. Their names. I just find it kinda ironic that so many of these worlds force the MC to endure tr*sh relatives and then his own 'happy family' barely gets any mention. I assume the author did this because the MC is always 'resetting' his feelings between his different lives, and perhaps they thought the reader's would get attached to his children/family, but it makes the 'romance' feel superficial. A token thing to be crossed off a bucket list every lifetime.

Loved it!

The MC is super strong and smart from the start, but later he learns more and more, and becomes practically invincible.

He doesn't have one love interest who follows him for the whole journey. I didn't think I would like it, but I actually ended loving it.

He does have many meaningful relationships, and is a hard worker.

It was a happy and fun reading, I have read a lot of quick transmigration and this one is not exceptional but still a good one, some worlds are a bit cliché and some are interesting, the MC has a very good personality and he handles his diffrent lives positively and lives for himself.

I really like the fact that love is not eternal like some other QT, it's more realistic.

He loves someone for one life then take a period to mourn and next start again a new life, if he likes someone he fall in love otherwise he lives single. He lives more for himself and for self-improvement.

I've would like more chapters with different world but I think the author wanted to stop, the last chapters were less detailed but still enjoyable through his little helpers. <<less

Another one of Lan Gui's novels. Seriously a great read! The MC is smart, and works hard in every world to gain more skills and improve his system. Each arc is worth the read and though not all of them have a CP, they're still super interesting. I actually love this novel more than Lan Gui's other novel, Retired villainess... and the other ones because each arc is well structured and you don't feel like skipping any of them unlike most QT novels. Well, in my opinion!:)

Read up until it was tld and the rest mlt

The plots are very straightforward and the revenge is satisfying, as each world has different goals of avenging the lives of the people who gave up their body and it's interesting to see all the contexts, plus its nice to see how he deals with other reincarnators or people with golden fingers.

A bit repetitive but it cant be helped in such a long run, and the protag stays pretty static.

I do like how he deals with immortality, not shying away from... more>> love if it happens to occur in any world, taking it as a serious responsibility to give his heart and treat his partner with sincerity but also when he "dies" he waits until he has shed all attachments to his past life to start over.

4 stars because it does get a bit repetitive and I wish there was more like the regent arc or dealing with other systems, but still a good read. <<less

This one is really a gem. I love it too much!!! For me it too short I want to continue to accompany our MC!!! But!!! Why u make the orc world!!!? That really stung my rotten heart!! I wish our Mac is Bi !!! Like that it could be more thrilling for me!! Welp... it can’t be help... it just my personal preference, it already perfect in their own way. I just wish it could me more!!

very unique QT. Not type of cute and fluff novel, ut’s just face-slapping and counterattack. The MC is OP but it appears not like Jack Su or openly full of OP-ness. Not every arc has love relationships, but when there is a love partner even I think it’s different, not 1v1, but it doesn’t make MC cheating because he only loves 1 person each life. Every QT novels usually bring a concept of eternal love but aren’t it’s just impossible and extremely rare. Each love relationship, he never brings his... more>> past life companion to compare with his current partner. Their love is not many fluff and cute but like honorable love, respect, and building eachother which is very logic. The MC clearly spoiling the partner but never make me full dog food, but their love is well delivered. Well, the story is a bit repetitive, the MC always has resolutions to be a rich man, I'm already at chapter 135 (4++ arc) but it is still modern world-building, sometimes got bored of it but thanks to the plot introduction I got enticed. My favorite is arc 1 and arc of internet addiction. Hmm the skill building of MC is always revolved around business and tech, I need something new. Fortunately he recently learned medicine <<less

This is a gem. I don't agree where readers said that the protagonist does not have a mate with same soul in every world. It may be due to preferences. And I don't like QT stories where protagonists have mate with same soul. I prefer novels like I Am a Big Villain, The Analects of Righteous Father Collapse etc. I have been searching for similar BG stories and this is a gem. In fact my favorite QT. This story is unique because the MC creates his own system and he... more>> is so thirsty for knowledge. It is very different from stories which have system in the beginning. And his character setting is also really nice. It is a must read Chinese novel. And comparatively I feel this novel has lower rating that it should be having. <<less

If you are into the icky sticky sweet fluff type QT, then this is not for you. However, DON'T drop it yet! It's very interesting how he conducts every world mission, I love that it's not always all romance with the same template. Our MC is detail-oriented, thorough, calm and empathetic. He also does not pretend to have affections that he doesn't have. All in all, he is not unreasonably OP but learns things step by step and improvises according to the situation. An excellent read, there were different stories and MC became a ton of different character but always have the same integrity.

5 stars for the romance and fluff, 4 stars for the drama since some arc made me cry, it's very good and some arcs also teach some good lessons.
